Generally always a nice shopping trip when I come here. Store is generally well sorted and things are easy to find, particularly if you look them up on the website before hand. Check out is always pretty painless. I tend to think the sales staff can be a little aggressive with helping and checking in on the customer, but I appreciate it's there for others who may actually like/need the help.

It's kind of shocking for me to leave this review, as my family and I were loyal long time customers of this store for a long time, and we loved it. There was a management change around 2 years ago, and everything went steadily downhill from there on out. They carry less, some of the employees are rude (but not all), and you can't even find anyone to help you out for a solid 10 minutes, even 15 minutes depending on where you are in the store. A year ago we purchased a new accidental warranty for my laptop as my current one had expired and we had to pay a repair out of pocket. The person selling us the warranty clearly stated it covered accidental damage, and it even said it on our receipt. Their system should be able to keep track of this. We went back in a few months later when my charging port broke, and they immediately informed us that we would have to pay out of pocket for the repair ($950 + labor). We said we have a warranty, and they said it was expired. We said we just purchased a new one a few months ago, and we had to argue with the man to get him to even look up our new one. Once he found it, he informed us that it didn't cover accidental damage and we'd have to pay out of pocket. It was made VERY clear that we purchased a warranty that DID cover accidental damage, and it even said it on our receipt, but we don't know where it went. You may ask why we didn't keep track of the receipt, and that's because Micro Center's systems are supposed to keep track of the warranty. We went to Downtown Computer and they were able to fix my charging port for a MUCH lower figure, AND without replacing the motherboard. They also informed us that there is a risk with replacing the port via soldering because it can be weaker, but I've had no issues. If you have any need for a repair, I would direct your business to Downtown Computer.

The employees here are always super kind and helpful! I never feel like I am an inconvenience when I ask them a question. They have a good selection of products here to choose from. They have a lot of 3D printer filaments, and that is helpful for home projects. I would definitely recommend that you come shop here!

I recently visited Micro Center for a MacBook battery replacement, which required my laptop to be sent to Apple for service. While the process was smooth, I had an issue with the diagnostic fee since I already knew what work needed to be done. That's when Lonnie Miller, the manager, stepped in and truly went above and beyond. He took the time to listen to my concerns, understood my perspective, and worked with me to rectify the situation by price-matching Apple's service fee. His professionalism and willingness to ensure customer satisfaction made all the difference. Big thanks to Lonnie and the Micro Center team for their excellent customer service! If you're looking for a tech store that stands by its customers, this is the place to go.

I will say this is the last time I ever shop at this location. I had ordered something for pickup online and I started my drive down. 3/4 of my drive through I received a cancelled order email. Tried to call in and it was later than their call service was open.. I get there and I see the unit I want... But I'm told it's a test item and should have never been online. It's the only one in store and the only way I could get it is if it's marked open box. The display was listed online and I ordered it... So I drove 2 hours for no reason. This wasn't the first time I had an issue. I tried to buy a 3d scanner from them and there was an issue. It was returned and I showed up to grab it and they didn't check to see if it was even in the box. I have purchased multiple 3s printers and other items. 60% of the time it's not been easy and I'm done with it. Thanks for the false advertisement. You can start winning me over by refunding my gas money.
