I took my gaming computer tower in because it was restarting about twice a day with a blue error screen saying it had critical structure corruption. It's a fairly new computer being only around one year old so I was thinking it was something wrong with the software. He kept my computer for around two days which I was fine with. I went back to pick it up (and saw their very cute dogs) and paid approximately $105 in total. I started my computer that same day, and it did the error screen again. I called a couple days later since it was near Christmas, and he told me I would have to pay more for him to check the software because apparently he only checked the hardware even though it's a fairly new computer. As my sister jokingly said, I pretty much paid $105 for him to babysit my computer for a couple days. I know $105 or more isn't too much for computer repairs, but when you're a minor and don't have a job it's a lot. I would recommend knowing whether something is wrong with the hardware or software before you take it to him so there's no extra payments.

Normally, I'm very skeptical of computer repair stores. I think many of them overcharge, taking advantage of the fact that most people don't know a lot about computers. My laptop was having problems with a USB port a few months ago and, being a skeptic, I decided to research a computer repair store that had a lot of good reviews and discovered this one. I brought it in early in the day and a lady met me by the front door, saying Steve was out on a house call and would be back later. She gave him a call and I got to speak with him on the phone about the issue, and later that day we coordinated a time for me to come back and further discuss the laptop's situation. He said the repair fee for replacing the USB port would be very expensive and would take a while, and so he showed me this USB hub and I bought it that very day. Recently, I had another problem with my laptop's power button. The metal around it had bent and was holding it down. Requiring my laptop for school, I knew it had to be fixed urgently. Steve was very understanding of that last time and so I took the laptop here once more, and it was fixed in a day! He kept in contact with me so I could pick it up as soon as possible. He cut out the metal around the power button with my permission because I cannot afford to have the case part ordered from China and the labor to replace it. He was very understanding, recommending the cut in the metal. It isn't pretty, but I don't mind, and the power button is fully free now with no catching on the metal. Steve is incredible and listens to his customers. I'll certainly be a returning customer whenever needed far into the future. I highly recommend this place for any computer or laptop needs! :)

My mother had dropped my computer and my screen basically broke. So, I brought it in for him to fix. On the paper that you fill out explaining your computer issues, I wrote down at the screen was messed up as well as the computer was extremely slow even when starting up. They called me a couple days later to let me know that they have to order a new screen, which I believe he said was $80 or $85, plus the $70 for labor. Okay cool. Well, when they called me a day or two later to pick it up, I was told that for them to even LOOK to see what was causing it to act slow would be another $70. That doesn't even include what he would have to do to fix said problem. So, I opted out because I wasn't going to pay that much extra for a problem that I had already brought it in for. When my sister picked it up for me a week later when I had the money, I turned it on and it still has a broken pixel on the corner. Normally I wouldn't care, however I spent over $150 to fix this. So, I called again and was informed that it was basically a superficial issue with the screen and there was nothing he could do about it. So, all in all, he does all right work for the most part, but I'd only recommend if you have a few bucks in your pocket.

I had a BIOS issue. Needed help PDQ. He said no promises. I understood. We discussed my need and his time. I groaned and moaned and proceeded to fill out his paperwork. He opened my laptop and fingered my TouchPad. I completed his wee document he turned my laptop around to face me and it was alive and well! I be a happy camper as my need is and was pressing. He did take the time to look vs. Just putting it in queue. Thanks!
