I had a tech issue that occurred after a company software update which caused me to be without access to my laptops. I called PC Paramedic and they told me I could bring my computer in and they would work on it. I dropped my laptop off and went around the corner to Chickfila. I was still in the drive thru line when I received a call stating that the issue had been resolved so I could come and pick up my laptops. It was literally less than 10 minutes. Now…it’s a computer, so it repairs cost. The diagnostic fee is between $75-$100, then you have the repair fee. This can be a bit pricey and with the cost of some laptops these days, you may can get away with just buying a new one. The gentleman at the store, William asked for a review and I told him I would and I would add a picture for good measure- this was him posing. Update: the issue returned same day and I dropped my laptops back off 8/21- I will know what the true outcome is tomorrow. I will return to provide an overall update. 2nd update: 11/24/2024- I’m late with this update; however, I should have done this several weeks ago. Initially, I was thrilled by the service received, this was until I discovered that paid for services weren’t truly rendered. Case in point, I had several work desktop computers that I needed to have wiped clean and restored to factory settings so that I could donate them to a local church. When the church got ready to use the computers the computers weren’t restored to factory and the church had to bring someone else in to fix the issue (he mentioned something abt the KP’s- I can be getting this wrong due to the time delay, but they had to get this done). Then there was an issue with my son’s laptop: I paid to have all of his photos transferred onto a USB and the tablet restored back to factory settings. I waited several days past the initially timeframe to pick up and it was not ready, then I finally picked up the tablet for my son unbeknownst to me the photos and videos were not deleted. I called and the guy told me just to bring it back, after it had been there for at least a week. Now, yesterday- a laptop that I paid them TWICE for, I asked that it be wiped back to factory settings and to place windows 10 back on the laptop so I could also give that one away. I get a message today from the person I donated the laptop too, that the computer was not reset back to factory settings as she sent me a photo showing my work login screen. I am highly disappointed and upset as I paid them a lot of money in a short span of time for work that wasn’t completed properly. The laptop was mailed off and the individual was finally using it and turned the laptop on to see my work screen and sent me a picture. I’m livid, bc this is now the 3rd incident; it started with the donated church computers, then my son’s laptop, now this!

I had an issue with an application on my laptop which I had tried unsuccessfully to resolve. I took my laptop to PC Paramedic and was greeted in a most friendly, positive manner by William. He was able to resolve the issue in ten minutes. He is very knowledgeable, but most of all, it was clear to me that he is customer focused, wanting to help his clients. I would definitely recommend PC Paramedic in Mint Hill.

PC Paramedics is truly a gem in the world of computer repair services. From the moment I first walked through their doors in 2023, I knew I was in good hands. Their prompt and efficient service in replacing my broken PC with a top-of-the-line Dell laptop at a reasonable price truly saved the day. But what sets PC Paramedics apart is not just their products, but their people. The staff is a group of incredibly resourceful, intelligent, giving, and approachable individuals who go above and beyond to make sure their customers leave satisfied. In particular, William and Mike were a dynamic duo in solving my computer woes and ensuring that everything was running smoothly. Thanks to PC Paramedics, my family now has a trusted go-to place for all our PC needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy computer repair services.

My portable hard drive containing years of data would not allow me access. Mike and his associate at the Mint Hill location were very professional in explaining what the problem was, and with the help of their equipment, were able to extract the data from my old hard drive and transfer it to my new one. I would recommend their services to anyone with computer problems.
