I called this store trying to let them know about a fraudulent transaction on my credit card and tried to cancel the order to be picked up they never answered the phone and the item was picked up. What kind of identification did they have?it wasn’t me now I have to cancel my bank card.Best Buy in Hickory,nc I live in Greensboro nc you need to do better.This was not the geek squad it was the appliance department smart tv

Usually I get great service but today,sadly, they fell very short. I dropped off my laptop for a tune-up and a fan replacement and the gentleman at the counter was great as always. Than a hour later someone from geek squad called very rudly asking for my husband and wouldn't talk to me until I informed him it was my computer and I will be making the decisions. He rudely informed me I needed a new battery and to drive back to the store to get the info to order one. I told him to give me the info over the phone and I will order one, but he said he doubted I would order the right one but gave me the info and I ordered it without a problem. I don't know if he was very rude to me because I'm a woman or if he just has poor customer service skills. I tried to contact the store about my experience 6 times but no one would pick up the phone.

After dropping off my item for repair, I was told I would receive a call when it was ready, 2 weeks max. After 5 weeks I called in just to find out that it was irreparable and had been approved for replacement 3 weeks ago. The replacement process was fairly easy, so I increased the score from 1 to 2 stars for that good experience.

Came to store after my laptop and been compromised in hacking attempt. Told my information to Representative, Joe who checked the device, cleared fraudulent files, checked/changed my security protection and even helped me with some issues on my phone. Joe is the best! My son locked me out of my email account and though it was gone for good but with his expertise, he was able to recover my account and for that, I am so grateful!!!
