Absolute worst experience ever. 0 stars if possible. Took my phone for a screen repair. It was supposed to be same day service and only take 2 hours. I went at the 2 hours and supposedly it was done and they only had to do a post repair diagnostic test because it was a repair through apple support. Well 2 hours later they still could not get the diagnostic test to run. My phone was not able to be released to me and I had to leave it over night. Next day and I am unable to get in touch with anyone at the store. Apparently all phone numbers go to some imaginary location that you can talk to people but they cannot get in touch with the store. I do not know how this is possible.

Service was atrocious. I would give 0 starts if possible. Never go to the Geek Squad at this Best Buy. Four days before I went in, I scheduled an appointment for 5:40pm on Monday through Apple/Best Buy. I received a confirmation email that same day for my appointment that included what my phone problem was (needed a battery replacement, as performance was below the recommended level), what I needed to do beforehand, and to show up early. So I show up 10 minutes before my appointment, and no one is there. I figure they might be helping someone else, so I wait a few minutes. Someone comes out, asks if I am on the schedule, and has me sit down at a nearby table and leaves briefly. He comes back and asks me what I am there for, and I tell him my battery needs replacement for my iPhone. He then tells me the battery replacement guy left at 5:00, and won’t be back for the day. I ask why he left early if he knew there was an appt for later in the evening, and I don’t get a response. I then ask if he will be available later this week at the 5:40 time (only appt I can make due to work), and he says the battery guy always leaves at 5 so never. Why even have appointments listed if you can’t keep them? He then asks to see my phone, has trouble getting the case off, then says they probably don’t even have the battery for my phone. He says they can reschedule, but are booked for the week and still not available after 5pm. He also then proceeds to tell me that they would have to keep my phone, and if it doesn’t pass diagnostics, there will be a few hundred dollar surcharge to fix/replace it. Reiterated that all I needed was a battery change, but he ignored my comment and just kept talking about the diagnostic test and its charge. I declined the “offer”, and took my phone back. Asked again why they have appointments available if they don’t have the parts and if their employees don’t stay for appointments or honor the commitment. I was answered with a blank stare and a shrug, then offered a suggestion to go to the Apple Store over in Charlotte. I then left and he went to help someone else. Hopefully the other customer actually got some help. I won’t ever get help from here again, and will likely not come back to this Best Buy either. Very disappointing

Raven is the name the manager gave me she refused to give her name. I arrived for an appointment had to wait due to her with someone else. Said she has to do the diagnostic and needs my phone *in an otter box. Leaves for 15 minutes and comes back out trying to put the case back on. Gives me the phone with a broken screen and said she can’t do anything because she doesn’t have the parts. (Everything is under warranty) but has to keep the phone for 3 days. When I ask her to see if another store has it and what is she going to do about my screen she tells me she will have the manager talk to me. She goes back and me and another guy watch her come out on the other side of the store to go get the manager and police officer and the manager comes and gets nasty when I ask him who is going to fix my phone since she damaged my screen and tells me to leave the store. This is unprofessional and ridiculous. If you can’t talk to a customer why are you working with the public. I will never return here. Do not waste money here

Made an appointment to get a cracked phone screen replaced. We drove 35 minutes to only to be immediately turned away because “the system was down” and they had no way of helping us. No apology was made. We made another appointment and once again drove the 35 minutes. This time we sat and waited while the person did paperwork and such for 25 minutes only for them to tell us that they didn’t even have a replacement screen at that store and had now way of ordering one. Once again, no apology or reconciliation in any way. The person who helped us did not care at all about wasting over 2 hours of us driving back and forth, and said we were just out of luck and would have to go to the Apple store. So long story short, take your business elsewhere.
