My laptop lid was accidentally rammed into the doorway by my inattentive grandson causing the hinge to break and part of it to come out from under the screen. Charlie looked at it and told me he could have it fixed in 3 or 4 days depending on how long it took to get the parts. He had it fixed and ready to go by close on the 3rd night. Charlie was very kind and very efficient. I am totally pleased with all aspects of this business from start to finish.

I decided to pour a glass of water on my laptop and make sure to start the day on my wrong foot =) Brought my dead computer up to the store for help. The put a rush job in it and by closing that same day it was fixed. Charlie and Phillip did a great job of explaining what they had to do to get it back in running order. I am typing this review from my newly patched up laptop. Great job!

Best customer service and computer repair in Burlington/Elon area. We have used them several times and today they saved the day. Got my grandson a laptop for Christmas online. Stupid Microsoft was forcing use of Microsoft account and had us locked out of the laptop. Charlie at The Computer Dept was able to bypass the password and set it to a Local account that doesn't require login. AND for a more than reasonable price. I can't THANK them enough!! Saved the day!!

Charlie Mamakos IS FANTASTIC!!! He can fix so many things! Computers, phones, broken screens, custom computer builds. Very honest and helpful. He really knows the computer in and out. He is MY GO TO "GUY" when my system or phone goes down!!!!

Edit: Just got my machine back. This crew is top notch. They diagnosed my problem efficiently, and allowed me to provide my own hardware for the repair. Incredibly friendly staff too. They are very helpful with people that aren't very computer savvy, explaining what going on and why without being condescending. And their prices are very reasonable. I will continue to do business here. Good service so far. They are still working on my computer so I will update this when they're done.
