Staples website stated that the product I was looking for was in stock and ready for pick up. Went to store, bare shelves and no stock. Finally was able to talk with someone (not enough staff) and he told me that Staples misleads its customers to get them in the store. This store looks like its going out of business, I can understand why.

Tried to make a return shipment by following the instructions I received from the merchants website but when I went in to Staples the man at the shipping counter was so short and unwilling to help at all that I grabbed my stuff and walked out. I understand I may have been under prepared but I can't imagine I am the first to go in and try to make a return from Azazie.

I never write reviews, but my experience yesterday was SO awful that I feel I have to. I came in yesterday, 3 days out from my wedding, desperately needing to print out 5 table seating arrangement cards. I just wanted them on some kind of cardstock paper, and about the size of a postcard. Or something similar; I wasn’t picky at all. The man behind the print and copy counter was middle aged and bald. He was helping the woman in front of me for about 10 minutes. She seemed to be doing something quite expensive and complicated, and he seemed happy to help her figure out pricing. I patiently waited my turn. I did not act annoyed or try to get them to hurry up. When she left, I walked up to counter, and it’s honestly like a switch flipped. He seemed annoyed that he needed to answer my questions. He said he couldn’t do anything smaller than a standard piece of paper size, printed the seating arrangement cards out on regular sized card stock paper, and said “Have a nice wedding.”. Extremely dismissive. I said that I didn’t have anything to cut them down with, and he directed me to the self service part of the store, where they had one of those paper slicers. I sat down, and tried cutting one of them to the size I wanted, but it turned out uneven. After another minute, I went up to the desk again and asked him if there was no way just to print them out on smaller paper. He told me I could do that, but I would have to order it online. That information would have been helpful the first time I spoke with him. He did not offer to help me figure out how to do that. At this point, I was about to cry from frustration, so I just left and went and cried in my car. I would not recommend going to print anything at the Staples in Boone. I went to Creative Printing and Internet Services this morning and they were not only so kind, but accommodated my request in about 5 minutes. Go there instead if you need any printing services.

I wish I had gotten his name. He was working today behind the desk section where Staples still offers scan and email services, God love 'em. When our turn came up he referred us to the scan machines outside the desk area for customers to use, not offering any support and despite my attempts to ask more info before being dismissed. He said if he did the scanning for us, it would take half an hour and he'd have to charge me $3 more. So off to the only available scanner we went. Of course there was a jam and the other scanner was in use with a line. So we headed back to the desk to explain we were willing to wait the 30 minutes and pay the 3 dollars more. He seemed really annoyed and rushed through the process copying down the email incorrectly in doing so. 🤦‍♀️Since we got home, I've downloaded a scanner app and said so long to what once was a business we could count on. Please, please be grateful you woke up, have a job and get to meet people in this sweet town of ours. And if you find yourself ungrateful, maybe you can reexamine what would make you happier. Our two cents.

Every time I go to this Staples it is staffed by college students. They are very helpful and very knowledgeable. I appreciate them very much.
