I brought in my new iPad that had been hacked into while I was out of the country. The gentleman who spoke to me was rude, brusque and told me he “Didn’t have time to help me and that it could take weeks for an Apple reset”. He appeared annoyed and uninterested in helping me although he gave me an appointment. I called Apple Support that day and they resolved my issue in less than 15 minutes with no cost. I wouldn’t recommend this business .

Other than the fact that they took my mom’s computer right away, they didn’t remove a critical piece of software that was literally tracking my mother’s keystrokes. We took it to Geek Squad at Best Buy and they handled it as well as removing other nefarious malware. $97 down the toilet for using CHarlotte Street Computers. Do not use them.

There’s no way this place is “Best of WNC” - just left with two computers that needed fixing. One with a loose key and the other probably more complicated. He said it would be weeks and hundreds of dollars for the little loose key. Did not seem interested in helping me. Maybe something is going on since most reviews the past few months have been negative, owner should take note. Not a helpful experience at all.

I absolutely cannot believe the way I was treated at Charlotte Street Computers. My iPad is no longer. Now, when I try to turn it on, it blips and does nothing. It worked before, it just had a few issues they said they could take care of. It took forever to get back, after repeated calls. They were pretty nasty about it. Try Asheville Computer Company instead. They helped my girlfriend with her laptop and were super friendly and prompt, at an affordable price! This place deserves to be shut down.

My Macbook Air took a small fall and the screen was damaged (see flashing vertical and horizontal lines in the attached photo). I called a few places, including this chop a couple of times, to try to get a diagnosis and best approach for fixing. I wasn't too happy with the quoted price but understood that was what it would be anywhere I brought it. Because of the good reviews and being an Apple-approved repair shop, I decided to bring it to them. The communication was good throughout. The best part was finding out that Apple was going to cover it because it qualified within the 1 year limited warranty! It turns out the display needed to be replaced because of a hairline fracture. I dropped it off on a Friday morning and it was ready by Tuesday afternoon—a lot quicker than I expected 👍🏼
