Poor Brad had two opportunities with a family desktop. When the problem that occurred at home did not replicate in the shop, there was no charge. Then, when the power supply gave up the ghost (and revealed a true issue), he was forthright about what the part would cost and labor time. He kept us informed of the part delivery when the timeline moved forward and his cost was as projected. He definitely earned some trust with this consumer.
