I am writing to express my concern about my recent experience at the Apple Store in Ridge Hill. During the repair of my iPhone 16 Plus, I received an iPhone XR as a loaner device. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped the XR, which resulted in a small crack. I accept responsibility for this incident, but I was charged $475 for the damage. After discussing the issue with your team, the price was reduced to $292; however, I believe this could have been avoided if I had been informed of the need for protective accessories for the loaner phone in advance. As a customer, I believe it is standard practice to provide protective cases or screen protectors for loaner devices, especially considering the potential risks involved. When I raised this issue with the sales associate, they agreed that better communication could have been provided. However, the store manager did not share this view, which left me feeling dissatisfied with the customer service I received. As a customer with AppleCare, I expected clearer communication regarding policies for loaner devices. I would like to find an acceptable resolution to this matter, as I am unhappy with the outcome of my experience.

Apparently, they don’t hire “Geniuses/Genii” at the Ridge Hill Apple Store over the holiday season rush. I wasted nearly 2 and 1/2 hours trying to purchases 2 Apple Watches. I’ve never been so frustrated in my life. Bring lots of patience and be prepared to endure a lack of experience and help.

I visited Apple Store at Ridge Hill today 1/23/2025. I needed help to set up and Ipad and also I want to buy a laptop. I agreed this is the worst apple store, horrible service, plus are not friendly at all. I requested set up my Ipad and then buy the laptop, of course they didn't like the idea, they want me to buy first. Then somebody started to help and left me alone in the middle of the process of setting my IPad, when I was creating my password she left and never came back. I asked other technicians to help me and every single one ignored me. Then the security guard started to walk around me, made me feel very uncomfortable. I asked the person at the entry for help and he said he can't move from his post, even when nobody came in the store, he didn't made any efford to call somebody to help me, he said "I can write your name you need a technicians then a seller" I said a technician already started and left me alone in the middle of the process, she never came back and are another 7 technicians doing "nothing" at the store, you have to be kidding me! Laziness, rudeness and unprofessional is the right description for the people at this store. For example every single time I visited the Grand Central Station store, people are so helpful and friendly, even when you just ask questions, you don't need to buy to be treated with respect. Apple needs to be ashamed about the people that work at store at Ridge Hill. Of course I had very bad experience, plus I really need to buy the computer and set up my IPad for work . I will never go back and of course never recommend this store. If you want good service go to the one at Grand Central or White Plains.

If I were able to give this apple store 0 stars I would. Terrible store with employees who cater to "their kind". If you're not in there spending money you will sit there for hours. I made an appt and got sat at a table and got forgotten about. I asked 3 different employees for assistance and got told to wait. Literally a waste of a half day of work and a drive. I was probably better off at the bay plaza location with "my kind" of people.
