Our family has made multiple trips to this store. Each time, the owner has shown himself to be not only a total gentleman with impeccable manners, but also a gifted repair person. He is honest! Explaining what he thinks the repair likely entails, he will follow-up during the repair if he sees something additional is wrong once the device has been opened. I appreciate this integrity and "no surprises." There used to be a CPR repair center closer to where we live, but when that closed, we have been driving (further) to Wappingers Falls. It's well worth the trip.

Brought in a laptop I was having trouble servicing, which had a busted plastic RAM holding arm that could probably have been glued back on. They didn't even try to open it or take a look at the RAM slot which required the removal of a grand total of two screws and a plastic cover. Was just told that it was a mainboard part and that it couldn't be salvaged, and that the contacts/pins were probably bent (they weren't, as I found a workaround for the missing RAM arm later and the RAM is working just fine. They would have probably also figured this out had they bothered to remove that cover and take a look). I ended up finding the maintenance manual and I'll be handling the HDD to SSD upgrade that I hoped they would deal with myself. I had heard a lot of good things about CPR, and it was recommended to me a few times before this, so I was really disappointed that the technician didn't even want to bother trying.

The person I spoke to in CPR gave me excellent advice and clearly was interested in the best thing for me as opposed to making money off of me. CPR was recommended to me by a person who had the same experience after having terrible service at another repair shop.

Non Samsung screen installed. Screen performance is not good. Laggy and imprecise. If you have an insurance claim on the screen just shell out the $100 for phone replacement instead of $40 screen repair.
