Edit rating from 1 star to 4. Nate @ Vestal NY Geek Squad deserves 5 stars++ as well as Corporate. However National Geek Squad poor communication. Laptop under warranty stopped working. Son without car @ Binghamton University dropped @ Vestal a week ago. U can’t get a person @ actual store to talk to u. Got 4 different answers with status Natl Geek squad 1) Hardware needs to be shipped out 2) Replacement 3) Working on it 4) Fixed & ready to pick up but an actual appt to get is 2 weeks. We paid for a 3 year warranty as fyi with Best Buy. My son picked up w/o appt told to trust it’s repaired or wait 3 hours to see it works in store. Well back @ dorm with same error message and hardware not working. On call with Best Buy, 2 more weeks earliest with appt to look at it but Manager calling me tonight (didn’t happen)!! Next day Nate called & apologized for error & fixed my son’s laptop on the spot when he returned to store 3rd time. He went above & beyond. Corporate also called me after sending experience by email. This reinstalled that Best Buy rights a wrong & is listening.

Unfortunately, they don't service really new watches for the Samsung models, also got a different answer we tried to call about it among our situation. 2-stars.

Kaya was the freaking bomb. My fat fingers screwed up my phone and the geek squad did just what they're called. Kaya as a supervisor took the time and figured it out. He deserves a lot of credit. Thanks Kaya.

Not at all a review of the customer service, as the employee's were fine. This is more about the overall business model that Geek Squad is forced to operate under. They are very short staffed and set up to take advantage of people who do not know much about computers. They assumed because I was taking my Computer to them to be worked on instead of doing it myself that I knew nothing about computers. So much like a shady car mechanic they tried to feed me some nonsense and sell me a brand new computer even though I already knew what was wrong with mine I was just too lazy to fix it myself. Long story short don't be lazy, just do the work yourself. GeekSquad is only there to sell you products you don't need.

I am rating only the phone call I made. I had to call about 3 or 4 times, and each time they connected me to the wrong number. I did end up going in to have something checked out. The guy was very helpful and knew what he was doing.I was very satisfied. I would give this in-store visit a 5 star rating.
