Yiru (staff member) handled the repairs on my laptop computer. She provided excellent service by taking the time to explain issues that needed to be address such as handling any confidential information contained in my computer and describing the work that may be performed to fix my computer problems. Microworx has a top-notch staff member.

I dropped off a PC for them to repair a crashing issue. After 48 hours they called and said the PC couldn't replicate the crash and they seen zero issues on the crash log. They said it could be happening because of a webcam I had plugged into it. Still kept my $100 deposit even though they did not fix the issue. When I got it back home it once again crashed. I ended up trying to repair myself by getting ahold of Microsoft customer support and they walked me through an easy process and had the issue repaired in less than 20 mins. For free mind you. Microsoft support even said it was something that should have been easy to find and fix for even a novice tech. Wasted my $$ taking it to this shop.

Having a local shop to take computers is important to those of us who rely on our electronics for work! Microworx staff is fast, but also friendly, attentive, patient and skilled. They have successfully repaired my computer in the past. This week I took my computer in on Thursday morning because it was not getting power. By Thursday afternoon they had assessed the issue, determined that it was not cost effectively repairable (motherboard was shot). They patiently dealt with my many phone calls as I had to manage warranty and other issues. By Friday afternoon they has successfully removed all my data from the fried computer and gave it to me on an external hard drive that was simple to transfer to another computer so I was back to work. Less than 34 hours and my issue was resolved and their price was very reasonable. I do not have computer issues often but when I do, I will go to this local shop!

Microworx has been around for years. I bought equipment from them when I used to build my own systems. In later years, I had them build a custom system for my business in 2009 and I still use it. I couldn't be happier with their support and service over the years. Keep your money in our community and consider them for your next purchase.

Staff has attitude problems! Called them the first time, call was answered by this person named Kevin, who seemed very uninterested and was promised I would hear back from them about a motherboard change for a desktop. They never got back to me. I thought fine, they might have forgotten due to a lot of customers. Second call, a nice gentleman noted my requirements and promised to follow up. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear back again. I called the third time and Kevin answered again and said there was no record of my inquiry and that THEY HAD MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES TO ATTEND TO AND THEY WOULD GET BACK WHEN THEY HAVE TIME. I can’t fathom how on Earth they can make a customer feel like their issue is less important and I was just stunned. They could have just respectfully said that the waits are long and our technicians are currently working on orders ahead of me. I took my business to Pod Computers instead and got my beautiful custom build done there perfectly and was treated with care and respect. Learn to treat your customers respectfully, no matter the scale of their request!!!
