Staples in Garden City Park is always a pleasure to shop in for supplies, photocopying, etc. I have found the staff in the store to always go beyond the ordinary to help me get what I needed when I came into the store. I go to this store fairly often and the staff is routinely superb!

I was that person that walked into the store three minutes before closing… Even though that was the case, I was greeted with a smile and three different people were helping me to find the item I needed. It was not on the shelf, they checked several other areas that it could be until they found when I was looking for. They went the extra mile to help me figure out if it was compatible with the iPad. They also let me know that if it wasn’t, I can definitely return them. They assured me that even if they were open, it would be OK. I left there with confidence. It was a very pleasant experience that I was not expecting. Generally, young kids just want to get home And don’t really want to be bothered. I was very happy with my experience there And I think that helped me that night.

Changed their system for amazon returns so that the checkout and amazon return line is the same line. I asked an associate when i was on site, she said there is a separate line up by checkout, when i went customers confronted me and said its all one line we are all waiting. The store associate then radioed over and confirmed it is all one line. As you can imagine this causes chaos and confusion especially around holidays. Previously amazon returns were on the opposite end of the store, with separate staff. I would not return my amazon items here anymore.

Garden City Park location, Cashier ‘John’ was uncaring, inconsiderate and rude, made 10 people wait on line 40 minutes, taking care one Amazon rtn customer; wouldn’t get another cashier, refused to give his name! Even the manager was not courteous. I was very disappointed that day!

I had a terrible experience at Staples recently, all thanks to Dora and her unprofessional, downright disgusting behavior. I went in expecting to make a simple purchase based on their online pricing, only to find out the in-store price was completely different. When I tried to address the issue with Dora, she was rude, dismissive, and seemed more interested in arguing than helping a customer. It’s clear Staples is misleading customers with their pricing, and the attitude I encountered from Dora only made things worse. Thankfully, a young man working there was able to step in and assist me. He was polite, patient, and took the time to actually help—unlike Dora. You never know who you’re assisting, and that young man made a difference in an otherwise terrible experience. Staples should be more careful about the kind of employees they put on the floor. I won’t be coming back anytime soon, especially if that’s the kind of service they allow.
