This guy is the absolute best. I just bought a new laptop and wanted to do a RAM upgrade from 16 GB to 64 GB. First of all, I just want to say he knows his stuff and is extremely thorough. I actually called the day before I went in and asked about the RAM upgrade service. He called me back and confirmed with me that my laptop was indeed compatible with 64 GB of RAM. That he double checked for me without my asking him to shows just how dedicated he is to customer support and getting things right. When I went in the next day, he expertly took apart my laptop, walked me through the process, and performed the upgrade. Not only did he double check, triple check, and quadruple check to make sure everything was running fine, he quintuple checked just to be extra sure. He also guaranteed his work and mentioned that if I ran into any issues just bring it back and he would return it to its original state. This service just doesn’t exist in so many places anymore that it’s incredible he is here for the Brooklyn community. Extremely fair and TRANSPARENT pricing. Wonderful service. Also just a chill guy with super good vibes all around. Highly recommend PC MAX for all your computer and electronic servicing needs.

He is the nicest man ever! He was honest about the potential pricing of my unresponsive MacBook, and how bad the damage on my macbook was(spilled half a large cup of coffee all over my keyboard) and even told me how I could make money off of a dead/broken macbook. Still offered to open my laptop to take a look, and when I asked where he got the screwdriver for the macbook, he said he’ll just give me one and he gave me one :)

Chek is the BEST. In addition to fixing my laptop, saving me the cost of buying a new macbook, he is very thorough, taking the time to really figure out what the issue is, looking to save costs for his customers, and just an all-around nice guy. Great neighborhood store.
