I had an excellent experience with Computer Tech Brooklyn. I rely on my laptop for my business so needed it repaired quickly. Sebastian who owns the company was responsive, came to my business location, worked quickly and within my schedule and had very reasonable rates. He was also very personable and patient with my technology anxiety which I very much appreciated. I highly recommend his services.

If I could go back 6 months and take my computer to Best Buy instead of here, I would. Back in December, my computer was very, very broken— something was up with the software and it wouldn’t turn on. Andy provided me with a free evaluation to see what was wrong with my computer and gave me a $150 estimate. Great pricing, and the deal came with a free warranty. My Chromebook was returned to me punctually and he followed up with me afterward to see how the Chromebook was working; however, the day it was returned, Andy told me that it would not work without the cord because the battery had exploded. He then showed me my exploded battery in his hand and told me that he had to take apart the whole thing because the problem was inside. I don’t know much about computers, but as a first time customer, I was very taken aback. I was thankful that my computer was now functional, but I would have liked to know the details of what was going to happen ahead of time. Andy reassured me that a new battery would be ordered and installed in time for the beginning of the next semester (which would be at the end of January). Fast forward to May (now when I’m writing this) and I STILL have not received my battery! I have had to chase him down several times over text over the last 5 months about the whereabouts of my order. He did not follow up on his own about what was going on. Only weeks or months later (I’m not sure at this point) he said that said my battery was out of stock and had to be put on back order. I remember reaching out several times after that asking questions and only received sporadic responses, delays, and no real answers. I reached out to him last week (because at this point in the semester I’m about to have Finals), and told him that I would need my battery ASAP. We were texting back and forth, and he said he had to place a NEW order, and he didn’t seem to have memory of the first order he placed. Andy said it would come in for sure on Monday (yesterday) but that he would have to keep it over night instead of finishing it in one day. After the run around these last few months, I definitely do not want to leave my computer with him overnight because I could potentially never get it back! I had to CALL him to get my point across that I would not be leaving it with him overnight, and I even tried to negotiate a day that works best for him to get it back to me on the same day. Andy said he would see what he could do for me, but he didn’t sound like he would try. I followed up on Saturday and never heard back. I am very dissatisfied with this service, and at this point, Imma have to order my own frickin battery and install it myself, or invest in a new computer. Andy also dealt with this bad review very unprofessionally. He acted as if he was “helping me out” with fixing my computer because now he refuses to finish the job he has already been paid for (definitely don’t pay him in full before the job is entirely finished, that was my mistake) and will not respond (to a customer!!). Also the invoices and documentation that he kept of this service are very biased and inaccurate. Computer Tech Brooklyn can’t even be found on the Better Business Bureau so I could file a complaint, so it’s probably not even a real or legal business….I love supporting small businesses, but I’m not making that mistake again with this place. Do not let this UNPROFESSIONAL man scam you. Pay for quality service elsewhere because this “business” is not it. Screenshots are from Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

I had a great experience with Andy from Computer Tech. He was very professional when he visited my home to make upgrades on my PC. I would recommend and use Computer Tech in the future. The price was fair and like the fact I have a "go to guy" if I have any issues moving forward, especially with a one year warranty . 👍✨️

My desktop pc was almost 20 years old. Andy was able to overhaul the whole system and is now running incredibly! His recommendation of linking a bufallo NAS link station was a great addition. Now I'm able to save all my work and media from my desktop pc, laptop, and 2 smartphones all in one system. I'm not tech savvy, so Andy answered all my questions as well as giving me great computer tips. I highly recommend. Andy goes above and beyond with his work. He will be my go to guy whenever I have any computer issues. I'd give him a 10 star rating if I could. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
