Just received new replacement phone from ATT, who sent me to Geek Squad to have the old phone wiped of data before returning it to ATT. Since it is a Samsung, ATT couldn't do it themselves. Geek Squad promptly wiped the new phone, to which ATT had already transferred the data, thereby ELIMINATING ALL DATA FROM PAST 20 years!!(photos, music, contacts, apps, etc) AVOID ISHMAEL!!!, who by the way found a way to blame it on me. HE MADE NO ATTEMPT TO VERIFY HE WAS WIPING THE CORRECT PHONE!!

Today I went to this place to get the battery of my iphone replaced. They guy in charge said that It was going to take max 3 hrs. Went I went to pickup my phone, the screen was broken and the battery was not replaced-just to be clear, my screen was perfectly fine. Now I have to wait 3 or 4 days for them to get the new screen. This means that during these days I won't be able to use properly my phone. Very disappointed of this place

I bought a Samsung Washer and dryer from Best Buy, and the Geek Squad installed them. They were quick and dirty, dinging the walls and not installing the drain hose guide as required. They returned to install the hose guide properly after I called. Now I found out from Samsung that the dryer feet were supposed to be removed before stacking the units. The feet are still on the dryer and the tower is unstable. So I have to call the Geek Squad to come and correct yet another install error. Definitely not recommended.

You can't get anything "fixed"* without making a phone call or text chat to make an appointment with an overseas call center. The call center agents barely speak English, and are prone to 'accidentally' disconnecting you should you ask for clarification or to speak with someone who can comprehend English outside of their script. *apparently the geek squad no longer fixes computers. They will charge an exorbitant fee to install software, or do a virus scan. But if your computer is broken mechanically, e.g. a fan not working or noisy, then you need to send your computer elsewhere for warranty repair. If you don't have a warranty, they'll refer you to a salesman to buy a new computer. It's a pity you can't give negative stars.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a dryer from Best Buy 2 months ago and I paid for Geek Squad to install it as well as I paid for a Geek Squad warranty. When the techs installed the dryer, they caused the washer hose to become loose and the washer flooded my laundry room. Then when I used the dryer, it made a weird bumping noise and the dryer had to be replaced. After the second dryer was installed I couldn't get the dryer to heat and I had Geek Squad send a tech to service it. The tech discovered that the installer didn't connect the gas to the heater and he was not qualified to connect the gas, so I had to set another service appointment. Today a tech was supposed to connect the heat and no one arrived within the arrival window or called me. When I called Geek Squad, they were unable to contact the tech for an hour. The level of incompetency with this saga is beyond anything I have experienced anywhere.
