Great experience with Julia. In the past I have had lots of issues with the service I have received at this store, but it is the only one within 200 miles so I continue going. Today Julia restored my faith in the service at this store. She provided amazing service and was very caring. She took the time to understand my issue and addressed it. Although it was not able to be resolved the same day, she carefully explained the process to me and made it as easy as she could for me to get my issue resolved. Additionally, she took the time to build a genuine connection, which is something extremely notable in this day and age. I appreciate Julia’s service specifically and will try to work with her whenever I encounter issues in the future.

I walked in today and was greeted politely by the young woman and told her I needed to purchase a new screen protector for my phone. I was directed to wait by the cases. No problem. I waited for a good 15 minutes with no assistance and several employees standing around chatting. I walked up to one of them to ask for assistance and the greeter a bit rudely this time told me to wait and someone would be with me shortly. The three other employees chatting it up offered no assistance. I waited about 5 more minutes and a very busy employee, Dave, came over to assist me. While I know I was ONLY buying a screen protector and this store is a busy place, we have bought lots of Apple products over the years…. Phones, iPads, computers…. We are Apple wired at our house. Seems that some of the employees chatting it up even if it wasn’t their “assigned duty” could have offered some assistance even if it was just to get the part for Dave. Thank you Dave for your assistance and help with replacing my screen protector and explaining the replacement process when needed! As to the rest of you standing around, you need to open your eyes and ears to those in assistance.

I love Apple products. I just visited this store and my guess is they probably have a hard time finding “geniuses” to work here despite assigning such a title to their staff. I tried to trade in an Apple Watch 7 SS toward the preorder of an iPhone 16, and it seemed as though the “genius” couldn’t understand what I was trying to do. He told me I can’t do that because the iPhone 16 isn’t out until Friday. I replied, “Okay, can I preorder one?” He said, “you have to do it online”. ??? Abq is the twilight zone. Love Apple products by the way 😉

BUYER BEWARE OF APPLE PHONE CASE PURCHASES!! We purchased an Apple iPhone case at this store and returned the case within 90 days because it was disintegrating. They replaced it with a new one with manager approval. The replacement lasted less than 4 hours as it cracked even on a minor drop out my pocket while seated. We went back to the store within 4 hrs of replacement and they wouldn’t replace it. Tamara the mgr refused saying they couldn’t warranty unless it was mfg defect. Maybe customers get different response based on who they get? My response was it is clearly a mfg defect if it can’t withstand any minor impact or protect the phone which is what it is intended function is. I think they shouldn’t be selling products they can’t stand by or honor. Buyer beware. Apple is really failing on this one.

The service at this store is horrible. I’ve had 2 appts the first one was on Saturday February 1st at 2:00 for a cracked screen repair. I got checked in at 1:30 as I believe you should be early, I didn’t get seen by a technician until 2:08 and after they had me checked in they told me my phone wouldn’t be ready for 5 hours. I work that day so I said I’d reschedule for Sunday and leave the phone with them. I came in at 10:37 on Sunday February 2nd they told me it would be ready at 1:25. I showed up at 1:40 and it still wasn’t ready, they’re now saying it’ll be 2:30 before it’s ready. For this being a technology company and with all the communication tools Apple has they lack this in so many ways. I drove 45 minutes away to come and get my phone fixed. If they would communicate better I could have planned a whole lot better. They need better communication!
