iTech Computer & Phone Repair

Probably the worst experience I’ve had with any business ever. My iPhone had water damage and a Verizon-affiliated store recommended ITech for “board level” repair. Dropped it off and paid $35 deposit. Called them weekly for a few months for update and was always told “we’re still working on it, we’ll call you when done”. Never heard anything from them. Called again and was told there had been a fire in the building, they weren’t allowed in yet, but they’d update me when they could assess the situation. And that was it. Never saw my phone again and never returned my deposit. I fear they sold the info off my phone on the dark web.

My iPhone 11 screen was not working, the left side was not responsive and it was impacting my daily job... I have been here once in 2018 for the same screen replacement for my other phone. I checked in again and Heather said, "Yeah it could be fixed, it's a simple case of screen replacement." She ordered the screen (she did not have it with her) and in 2-3 days, I checked again, and it was available, went there, and in 10-15 minutes she fixed it. it's been 7-8 days and though it's nonbrand, it's working fine. She also gave a warranty for 1 month so I am keeping an eye if anything goes wrong. Overall, good communication, and service by Heather.

This store is a scam, the lady that works there has an attitude and is very unprofessional. She charged me around $75 to download pictures and documents from a laptop’s hard drive. When asked what she managed to download she stated “ma’am it was so long ago that I don’t remember”. She also took from the end of July to the middle of November to work on it. When called multiple times to check the status she claimed she hasn’t had the time or that she needs more time to work on it. She stated she would call when it’s ready but we had to keep calling ourselves until eventually she told us it’s been done for weeks. When asked for a refund for not being able to do her job or getting half the money back she said no. The store also smelled like dog pee and poop cause she had two dogs in the store with literal pee pads with poop and pee on it. Recommendation order the parts online it’s cheaper and can have your carrier for the phones replace it for cheaper.

Went in on Friday for a repair of ps5 hdmi. Heather said about w days I gave them 3 called Monday she said she needed a few mire days. Called Wednesday she said the part they had was defective had to order another one. Come Friday they said it's 95% done. Had to wait til Sunday to go pick it up. Went there and Heather calls the tech guy and asks about the 2nd ps5.( they were working on). The tech guy didn't know what she was talking about. They didn't even start on my ps5. Took it back and instead of the store issuing a refund she asked me to call my bank and ask for a chargeback! More stress. Smfh! Took it to ubreakitifixit repaired it in a day. $100 more but worth the service/etc.

Got my iPhone screen replaced charge me $200 And put a five dollar screen on And half my phone won’t work Did not use a multi touchscreen so I can No longer zoom in Photos zoom in on my screen typing you have to double tap letters constantly if you want to get ripped off, this is the place to go not worn about any issues. Just said it would be fixed for $200 and it was a lie.
