I recently had my laptop serviced and am extremely pleased with the experience. The technician conducted all the necessary checks thoroughly and identified that the hard drive needed to be replaced. Thanks to his recommendation and expertise, my laptop is now in excellent working condition. The service was professional and efficient, and I appreciate the attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Doing an exercise for school, I accidentally reconfigured the boot drive on my laptop. Comptech agreed to fix it this for me so that I was able to access my files. The computer was returned to me with the hard drive was wiped clean. Sam explained to me that both technicians at this site were not able to do the task I specified and had no other option but to wipe my computer clean. Under no condition did I give verbal or written permission to destroy my data. Despite my very specific request to save my files, Sam informed me that he did not know there were files on my computer. I was charged $64 without a proper explanation, refund for damage to my property, or even an apology. Sam did not contact me for consent or notification that he had no other recourse but to wipe out 2 years of invaluable data and pictures on my son nor did Comptech allow me the option to have my laptop serviced elsewhere. These technicians lack knowledge and customer service skills to effectively run a business of this type. The damage that Comptech caused to my property is irreversible. Do not trust them with yours. Following up on my original review as I am seeing your note 6 years later. When I dropped off my computer, the data was there. You did NOT offer ANY data recovery and you lied to Bank of America when I tried to dispute the charge. Yes, its 2024 and it's years later. I would like to make it clear what transpired.

Very poor service, the guy doesn't listens what you are saying, the rates for repairs which he quotes we will get a new one.

I've been going to this business for years for just simple copies and the internet cafe. I recently stumbled upon an old laptop that wasn't working, but I wanted to use it. I took it in and the owner not only welcomed the challenge to get it working right, but without asking he also installed the new MS operating system so that it's now also up to date with the latest OS and now it's working like I just bought it brand new. And the best part was he had this all done and ready for me the SAME DAY I brought it in, and I was a no-appointment / walk-in at midday! The owner, Sam is always on-site, always w/a smile, and gets the job done no matter what your tech issues are. I highly recommend this business for all your computer, tech, internet, copy needs & more!

Wonderful store. I needed docs printed, signed, scanned and emailed for my new job offer. Sam had it done in a jiffy. He even fixed my phone while I was waiting which had started taking sideways photos! Great location, and I was given a great price to have Word installed on my computer. I will be coming here for all my printing and tech needs.
