booked an appointment online to get my iPhone screen repaired and lcd repaired because it doesn't turn on. arrived at geek squad only to be told that the only technician who is capable of repairing the screen is out sick, and has been for the past week. Why they couldn't call or email to let me know before I traveled all the way to the store is beyond me. so much for "same day repairs" being advertised on their website. was told to call another local repair shop to see if they could squeeze me in, but told them I couldn't because my phone wouldn't turn on. I asked if it would be possible for them to call to inquire, but apparently "they don't have any way to call". they offered me no alternative solution, so we just stood there in silence as they waited for me to leave. so much for customer service, who knew a tech shop could be so technologically unadvanced?

Do not waste money here for geek squad. Ever. At all. For any reason. Nickel and dime you unless you buy a year subscription. Then charge 200 bucks for a year. Take far longer than needed and far longer than estimated. You can never get a hold of the actual people when you call. Do not do what's asked, talked about, or requested. Then after all the money and time and the subscription. STILL don't fix the problem. $250+ wasted from a week long ordeal that did nothing. You have been warned.

I am having laptop problems with over heating so I scheduled an appointment with the Geek Squad for service online. In their form they ask what problems so I stated the problem. My appointment was scheduled for the same day. I drive 45 minutes one way for the associate to tell me they have to send it out and it would cost $85.00, it would take 4-8 weeks if they had the parts. Why offer repair and service if you don't repair but send out. I found someone who does repair and had a better attitude towards customers.

Just got a iPhone 13pro max repaired, just a 500$ repair… no problem let’s get it fixed. They kept our screen protector and SIM card. The Verizon Unlimited sim is probably being shipped first class to China now. I had remembered to insist I get that broken screen protector back so I could get it replaced for free. Now after all that money and time I got a phone without a sim and the stress that it maybe gone. The sim is the only easy removable item in that phone how a professional could miss that is inexcusable. We have lost our trust for the Geek Squad.

The best tech I know. I have bought Geek Squad services for seven years now. They fixed everything just Super. I was hacked twice, both times Geek Squad recovered 100% of my computer. I have never paid an extra fee, not once.
