I had my phone’s broken screen repaired at this location. It was an old phone, so I was unsure if the parts could even be had, or that the phone was even repairable. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Everything went smoothly, from making an appointment, paying and ordering for the screen, and arriving for the repair. Communications were outstanding as well. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

My phone died without any warning or indication that something was wrong. I’m self-employed and am constantly communicating with my clients via texts and emails, so I was in full panic mode. I brought my phone to AT&T (my service provider) and they were stumped. They couldn’t figure it out and sent me to another cellphone repair place they are affiliated with. I drove a half hour to get there, only to find that they weren’t open that day (even though their website said they were open). 😩 My friend recommended CPR Cell Phone Repair in Portsmouth and I had to wait until the next day to bring it to them. They open late at 10 am (I wish it was earlier) and when I got there, Vinny Martino took me right away. I told him what happened and explained how my clients and I had no way of communicating while I’m on the road, and that I desperately needed to get my phone back in working order ASAP. Vinny told me that he had a few jobs ahead of me and it would be about an hour or so before he could look at it. I had to go do client visits that were 30 and 45 minutes away respectively, and left my phone with him. We had no way of communicating while I was on the road so I asked him if he would be able to call my husband to let him know if it was fixable or not, and to authorize my husband to pick it up either way. (My husband worked near the Portsmouth store). Vinny said that would be no problem, and took his contact info. I had to give Vinny my iPhone cloud username and password because I have 2-factor authentication on my account, and he needed this information in case he was able to get my phone working again. It’s very scary giving sensitive security information like this to a complete stranger at a business I’ve never worked with before. Vinny was very professional about it and made me feel comfortable about giving that information. Vinny was able to fix my phone (the battery was dead) and my husband was able to pick it up 3 hours after I had dropped it off. I am SO grateful to Vinny and would highly recommend CPR Cell Phone Repair in Portsmouth to anyone!

I called CPR - Computer, Phone Repairs explaining the issues I have been having with my cell phone. I was told that I could bring it right in and they will take care of it. After dropping it off, it was good as new within an hour. Prompt courteous service at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Tyler for all your cell phone repairs.

I got my phone screen repaired at this store about a month ago, and while the initial repair seemed fine, my experience with their warranty policy has been frustrating. Recently, while walking in the rain, I had my phone in my pocket. Shortly after, the screen began seizing. A few days later, at a concert, my phone accidentally fell out of my pocket, briefly touched some beer, and completely stopped working. I went back to the store to see if they would honor the warranty. Unfortunately, I was informed that any water contact voids the warranty. When I questioned this, they explained they’re “trying to run a business.” Clearly compromised my phone. If you have a problem with your phone after repair, I would advise not mentioning any rain or water contact, even if it's minor. Otherwise, they seem quick to avoid honoring their warranty.
