Took my computer in on a Sunday afternoon. They diagnosed it Monday morning, called me to update me on its repair. I authorized it and it was ready for pickup later in the afternoon! Very polite, and honest and knowledgeable employees! The price was very fair and everything was clearly presented, no wheeling dealing, upselling etc. 10/10 would recommend.

I was planning to host capture the flag for my little terraria game community. Unfortunately, the database for the game mode, which contains all the playable classes, has been lost to my horrible backup habits. My only alternative was to make a fresh table and recreate all the playable characters manually. This process would have naturally been catastrophic as the room for error and disruption of game balance too high. Getting old now and I doubt my ability to repeat the existing solution we had by memory and what little documentation we kept. This missing, tiny 29kb database file was holding back the event. The only device with a copy was a non operating 2017 MBP. I had no interest in getting my windows file system to play nice with Target Disk Mode. I called the local authority on all things Apple computers, -- which in my book is Browns Computer Solutions in Keene. Caleb was quick to reel me over the phone and I headed down to their store. Caleb was speed with precision! Fast. Not even 90 seconds later I had the lost file emailed. Very pleased with how efficient he was, and even more so that they did not charge me for the service. Their commitment to providing a good service has been exemplary. This seemingly worthless file recovery has saved me at least a couple solid hours of headaches, and has given the young adults who play terraria hours upon hours of enjoyment to come! I can't thank them enough. I wrote this review in good faith and can recommend doing business with Browns Computer Solution on all things Apple. They make it happen!

Pros: very clean, not phone related but supports or pride fest so that’s cool. Super cute shop dogs. Cons: like others commented they need your Apple ID to replace a screen, seems different. Cost is a tiny bit more then local places. Today apparently Apple can’t get them paperwork til maybe Monday so no phone til Monday and it’s a work phone so even the loaner phone can’t work. I read all the reviews and almost just waited till Monday to fly into the campus phone place they are super quick and don’t ask for any IDs tad less and funny. Once I get my phone back hopefully Monday I won’t return their for repairs.

I can’t say enough good things about the store in Keene. These guys are helpful, patient, and talented. after I had spent hours trying to figure out the problem with my iPhone, using the Internet and any other source I could find, they solved the problem within 15 minutes.Amazing. 😊

It was almost $150 simply for a diagnostic, you could likely go anywhere else and it would be cheaper. I learned this too late. The cost to replace a 2yr old, very expensive computer purchased there computer was INSANE. They did offer me a new computer which was also cheaper almost everywhere else I looked. Even with a $75 "credit" for the diagnostic The ONLY way I would ever go here again is if something under apple care needed to be replaced and it was free. NOT a good spot for new computer purchase, OR repair pricing. I have purchased MANY computers here, the customer service here is very different than I remember it to be. I had a better experience going to a big box store, which is very disappointing. UPDATE: as I can’t figure out how to respond to your reply. While I appreciate the details about your tools and things, my comment about the diagnostic is the same. It’s expensive, there were many places who offer the same service for less. The price I was quoted on a 2020, Mac Book Air was also significantly more than Best Buy and many online retailers, even if you only make 7%. As I mentioned when I drop the computer, I thought I had Apple Care and was surprised I didn’t, I’m sure you have cameras to confirm this conversation. I did not spill any liquid in my computer. I’m not disputing that it is a possibility, I work in a public place, have young children and pets, and the computer is open often. I paid you to diagnose my computer, IF I knew there was liquid, why would I spend the $ to diagnose it, that’s not logical. I find it really upsetting that my comments which can be supported actually pricing available, you have interpreted as “badmouthing” OR not “taking accountability”. Your comment about, “telling you we sold you a defective computer over two yrs ago”. I have no idea what you are talking about. I did ask if there was a recall, bc until I received your Google reply, I didn’t know there was liquid damage. When talking about accountability, maybe Google some competitive pricing, read your diagnostic and check your store camera to recap the actual conversion, and then re-read your reply, or not. I support my review, and in reading the other comments, I’m not your only former customer who feels this way.
