STL Wireless: Buy-Sell-Repair

STL wireless took great care of us! Replaced both screen and battery on my son’s phone quickly and at a good price. Highly recommend.

Customer service for iPhone repair was good, and the price was reasonable. However, I have serious concerns about the quality of the repairs. I had the screen replaced on my iPhone 13, a phone I was preparing to sell. The device was in excellent condition apart from the cracked screen. Similarly, I had another iPhone 13 repaired—this one had a cracked camera lens but was otherwise in excellent condition. Unfortunately, both repairs were subpar. The replaced screen and camera lens did not match factory standards. The screen seemed to sit higher than the original and made the phone feel bulky. The screen itself was soft, and almost gel-like to the touch. The camera lens repair also protruded a few millimeters more than the original lens. At first glance, both phones looked ok, but upon closer inspection, the quality issues became apparent. When I tried to sell the phones, they were flagged during inspection due to the poor quality of the repairs. I was told that the screen replacement, in particular, was problematic and that I would have been better off keeping the original cracked screen. The final assessment revealed specific issues: • The replacement screen was improperly anchored to the device’s casing, leaving a gap that could allow debris or moisture to enter and potentially damage the internal hardware. • The camera lens needed to be replaced. In contrast, a third iPhone 13 I sold (same company for all the phones at the same time), which had no repairs, passed inspection with a flawless assessment. Ultimately, the $150 spent on these repairs significantly reduced the value of my phones. The one with the replaced screen lost 2/3 of its value. While the shop may seem decent, I strongly advise against getting iPhone repairs done here. Go elsewhere if you want to preserve the quality and value of your device.

I’ve had the pleasure of doing Business with STL wireless on several occasions due to my daughter, always breaking her phone.. EACH time I’ve come the Customer service is amazing!!!!!! They are more than willing to work with me to figure out the diagnostic to the problem, and very very polite. I highly recommend them EVERY CHANCE I CAN!!

I got my shattered back screen replaced here and the screen was slightly shifted and ruined my ability to take photos or scan QR codes. Then the phone shut down completely a couple weeks later. $185 down the drain, would never trust their services again.

Well the person that waited on me was very professional. My only complaint is to check out the phones more thoroughly before releasing.I had to return mine for additional service to get it correct. Thank you. All good now.
