Awesome guy and got the job done quick! He knew I needed it by Monday. However my screen wasn't suppose to be here until Monday but it came early on Sunday. So he came on his day off and got it taken care of for me. I highly recommend him for any of your repairs!

I had a CPU high usage issue with my newly built custom PC. First I took it to Best Buy and they gave me more problems than what I had. I then took my PC to Byram Tech. Mr. Charles did not disappoint me one bit. He was able to solve the issue for me at a reasonable price for his hard work. He is a professional and I will 100% come back to him when I need it. I canceled my Best Buy total membership after I came to Byram Tech. Thank you Mr. Charles for your hard work!

I’m not sure how my experience was so much different from all these other reviewers, but I am truly not happy with mine. I have an Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop with the infamous charging issue (switches back and forth to AC and battery, check video). Might I add, laptop has never been dropped, gotten wet, or been exposed to the sun or overheated. I was pretty confident the charging port was going bad, and briefly looked into buying the hot air station and soldering iron (along with the other basic soldering supplies) to fix it myself. But I decided to back out of that and let a computer tech who already has all these tools do this for me. I bring it in to ByramTech and explain everything to the guy what’s going on with it; he told me he would have it ready by the next day. Next day arrives, and it’s not ready yet. No big deal, I figure the guy is just really busy and hasn’t had a chance. I think about three or five days in, I go to the location to get an update on the pc, and he’s telling me the charging port is “most likely not the problem”. I couldn’t really get a clear answer as to what might really be causing the problem. But then he goes on talking about some microchips that regulate voltages are burned or something (I think they’re semiconductors). Not at all related to the charging issue, but whatever. The pc still worked fine apart from the charging issue. Worst case scenario though, he would resolder the charging port (never happened). I’ve been waiting patiently until about two weeks passed, and I’m starting to lose confidence this guy can actually find the problem and fix it. I decide to go ahead and buy the tools to replace the charging port myself because, if this guy is not gonna do it, I will. I get a text from the guy a few days later a picture of a blue screen error. No idea as to why that popped up, but definitely sketchy. Never had that happen before on this computer. Luckily, windows 11 being the awesome OS it is, managed to somehow correct itself and boot up by the time I arrived, 3 weeks later. Exactly 3 weeks later, i already got the tools and everything. I was dead set on getting my computer back this time. I told the guy just put it back together regardless if it’s fixed or not, I need my laptop back and I plan to get another one (which I did). He got it back together and I paid the services. I bring it home, and right away multiple problems occur. CPU fan not spinning, neither usb ports worked on left side, and speaker was not working on left side either. Good thing NitroSense showed the CPU fan was not spinning, otherwise it was good bye cpu. I open the laptop up myself and find the connectors responsible for the speaker, usb ports, and cpu fan were all disconnected! But thank goodness easy fix. Afterwards, I got the tools and soldered the new port on myself, the problem was gone! It was a pain in the rear end getting the old one off because this motherboard is so thick, but not impossible. So I basically paid someone to look at my laptop, do a motherboard wash, and reapply thermal paste. Never did get into the charging issue it seems. Had I known how much this would cost, I would have stuck to my original plan to fix it myself. The tools and charging port alone were at least half the price this service cost. I don’t plan on buying another Acer, nor do I plan on coming back here either. He gets two stars because he seems nice and knowledgeable, but the problem was never fixed and this whole experience ruined it for me.

I took my phone to Byram Tech and the staff there were so nice and sweet. The owner fixed my phone at a very fast pace for a reasonable price and did not chatge me for the two washes he performed! Quick fix for a good price ! Definitely recommend.

After some storms in the area we came to work on Monday to find our shipping PC was blue screening. After trying some basic troubleshooting ourselves found the issue was greater than we thought. I called Charles and he was able to get onsite in a short amount of time and get us back up and shipping boxes very quickly.
