Wouldn't fix my iPhone 12 battery due to cosmetic damage on chassis - gophermods said they could fix it for the same price. skip geeksquad, just another way to scam you out of money.

The service from the guys at the store was good, although quite expensive & I wasn’t told upfront that there would be a charge for them to look over my laptop. But they seemed knowledgeable. The reason I gave 3 stars was because of the Geek Squad phone system. I live a good distance from the store & tried to call ahead several times to speak to a tech to explain my problem & see if it was worth my time to drive all the way over there. There is no way to get through to this store by phone from their online info. You’re routed to the Philippines where they are if no help at all. This was a complete waste of my time & greatly unappreciated. A horrible phone experience. Although my problem was only somewhat diagnosed, I appreciate the help the guys at the store provided.

Trash. Scheduled an appointment to have iphone screen fixed. Left work early. Arrived to store and was told they did not have anyone there to fix phone. If you don't have the capacity then what is the point of allowing an appointment to be scheduled? Was then told my best bet was to walk in to the Apple Store at the mall and wait. Waste of time. Will never ever use Best Buy or Geek Squad for anything again.

Purchased a "premium" TV mounting service from Geek Squad to include running cords through the wall. When the TV was installed, the tech told me he couldn't do that and that I should hire an electrician. I called Geek Squad and they told me to call corporate and it's not their problem. I did and they gave me the runaround too. I didn't get what I paid for and Geek Squad wasn't willing to work with me at all. In conclusion, I'd hire someone better next time.

Listen to this, scheduled a meeting to get a COVERED iPhone replaced. Had to wait 10 days for the meeting. Nbd it’s the holidays and corona. Figured I can survive that long. Get to the meeting and told they can’t fix the phone and they don’t have a replacement, but no worries, you can go to another Best Buy with this reference number and get a new phone. So I drove 20 minuets to maple grove only to be told that I would need to schedule another meeting 8 days from now, with no guarantee that they’d have another phone. Then if they don’t have a phone then, THEN they can schedule another meeting probably another 8-10 days where they HOPE they have a replacement. Fml, geek squad sucks. I miss malls and the apple store.
