Sunset Systems

What a wonderful place to do business! We went in on a whim to see if they sold used laptops (they do!). What I found was several very clean, restored machines for an absolute bargain. They were super helpful and when I asked about the store I even got a little history lesson! Please do yourself a favor, support a local business, and look here for your next hardware purchase rather than the overpriced crap that you can get elsewhere. They also do computer repair! In case he's reading this, thank you so much for the assistance and offerings! We'll definitely be back.

I just picked my computer up and I am just so pleased. I had just upgraded my GPU and CPU, but ran into some issues when I tried to upgrade to Windows 11. I thought maybe it was a driver issue, or perhaps something to do with my tragically out of date BIOS. Peter helped me quickly identify that it was actually my harddrive that was causing all the fuss. He diagnosed it, recommended a better quality harddrive than the one that was dying, and suggested using a different port on my motherboard so that it was even faster. After he did that for me, he ran into some trouble with my Windows license. He gave me a call and we agreed that I would buy a new license. He provided the license key and got that installed for me. My computer is home now and she's absolutely lightning fast. When I booted it up it was so quick I literally said 'Woah' out loud. Tl;dr: Peter figured out my issue, recommended how to fix it, and ran interference on a few other issues that cropped up, all for an incredibly reasonable price. I would enthusiastically recommend this place to everyone and I absolutely plan to take my business back here if/when the next time I have a problem.

I was looking for a quick turn around since my 2015 MacBook Pro that needed speaker repair is my work computer. Most shops wanted to hold onto it for prolonged period of time and that is why I initially chose Sunset Systems. I called on Friday and Peter said drop it off on Wednesday. I dropped it off on Wednesday around 2:30pm and received a call to pick it up SAME DAY at 4:30pm, I was in shock. I was very impressed at the speediness and value of the work. If I need any other work I WILL DEFINITELY be back. If you're on the fence about doing some work on your PC, take it to them, you won't be disappointed. It felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders not having to do that job myself. I even felt like Steve Jobs may step out of the back room in a turtle neck and blue jeans with all the 90s-early 2000s computer repair nostalgia in the room.

These guys are a breath of fresh air...I have been dealing with them for years. In the past year, I have bought two computers from them, built in house, cutting edge, latest CPU, lots of memory, etc. The price was less than half of a Dell or other such type. I've had no problems, but, should I have a problem, they are nearby, unlike the machines built in China and sold by Dell, etc. Honest and competent. Peter, who is usually therer, is always patiently helping someone in the store, often at no charge, sending them on their merry way. You won't be disappointed.

Very unprofessional. I had 2 amazon packages to come to this place and they never answer their voicemail and when I did get a person in the store (after waiting for the store to open outside and no one showed up) he tells me that he did not see that the package was received and, "we don't get paid for this" was his reply to me. Not only the Amazon seller not believe me, USPS gave his location as delivered... not to mention, this was a Christmas gift.
