I walked in was having problems with my wife’s Wi-Fi card on her desktop. As we were standing there, I figured out that there was a broken antenna The technician also saw this. He still tried to sell me a “new” Wi-Fi card they had sitting on the shelf it looked like it had been there for years. They couldn’t even find drivers for it to make it work in our computer. Then charged me $95 which he did not inform me, of before he started working on it. They ended up selling me some antennas at the end which is all that I should’ve been charged for in the first place. I understand business need to make money for their time but clarity with your customers is important. This was not good. Customer service in my opinion.

Great experience! He was able to correctly identify all of the needs of my laptop , was reasonably priced and I didn’t have to wait that long. When the part came in he offered to replace same day so I didn’t have to make another trip. If anything else happens to my electronics I know who to go to!

In 2007 Mateen Jafferson custom-built me a Windows XP desktop at a modest price that was a ‘perfect price’--because it perfectly met my specific modest needs. Since then I've never taken my computer concerns anywhere but Jafferson Computer. They've dealt in similar fashion with hardware issues and with software issues. Their results are excellent and the price is perfect, because their approach is efficient, and intelligent, and prudent, and because their expertise and experience is deep. Recently they again excelled. They solved several similar but not identical operating-system problems in a pair of wonderful older Asus Windows 10 laptops: the fraternal twins Asus1 and Asus2. They were bought a month apart and are nominally the same exact model--but actually are not. Comparing the slight differences in the responses of the ‘twins’ helped Luke to analyze and diagnose. This sort of thing is why they’re the best. Plus Mateen and Luke and anyone who has worked there are nice people.

I should have come here first. Jafferson is knowledgeable, clear, patient, and affordable. They were in touch with updates and did not push extra services or hardware on me. They outlined what I needed and let me decide what I wanted. Like I said, I am coming here first from now on.

Charged me 100 for consolation fee when the first 10 minutes i arrived the store owner was on the phone with another customer. Not only that but the cord I purchased to “solve” my problem didn’t even work & I was out in about 5 minutes after being suggested to buy it. Very money hungry & scam likely.
