A couple of weeks ago I came to Geek Squad to get my phone battery replaced. The first red flag was that they told me they needed to keep my phone for 1-2 days to repair it. If I were to have taken it to the Apple Store, it wouldn’t have taken more than a couple hours. After letting them hold onto to my phone for those two days, it was returned damaged. Weird pixelation in the bottom of the screen, back camera and flashlight unusable, constant app crashes, etc. They were fully aware of the damages caused from changing my battery, and let me know that my phone would be replaced with a new one at no charge. However, I had to wait almost 2 weeks to finally get my new one. What went from something that was supposed to only take a day, to me having to wait two weeks for a functioning phone, is absurd. The only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars is because of the nice man in the black baseball hat who was always straight to the point and extremely attentive every time I came to the store. I wish I asked for his name because he was great.

I had a wonderful experience! I walked in not knowing that I needed an appointment to drop my device off. I think the man who helped me was named Ryan. Not sure. He had very long dreads. He was so pleasant and patient with me. Gave me all the information I needed. And then I dropped off my device on my appointment time to Mark, I believe. He was also wonderful and very informative. I did call to see when I could get my device back and Jeff pushed the process for me and got me my laptop back in a couple hours from talking to him. They did exactly what they said. I dropped it off on Saturday and got it back Tuesday. Very happy with this experience.

Worst geek squad they held my computer for three days and texted me told me my computer was done. When I walked in in person they told me whoever took my computer never took any money from me and they could not work on it until If pay the over $200 membership fee and then could work on it and charge me again . If you bring your stuff here be prepared Wait a few days.

I took my computer into the geek squad last year because of a Trojan warning. The young lady who helped me was very knowledgeable, pleasant, patient, and able to explain to me (a person who is not techno-savey) what was going on. I think only on one of my visits to Best Buy did they not have what I was looking for.

If it was possible to give 0 Stars I would give them none cuz they don't deserve em. Appointment made 3 weeks prior. So we had to deal with a broken phone for all this time. My husband took my daughter's phone in to fix the screen came on time and because the phone was locked which I don't see why a broken screen would need the phone to be unlocked in the first place. Supposedly the manager of Geek Squad denied my husband because of the phone being locked and said he was late because he was unable to check him in because the phone was locked. The geek was full of excuses. I don't think he had any intentions on fixing it in the first place.
