This is a review for service in 2019. When my motherboard fried I brought it in to confirm, before I spent any money on a pricey replacement. I decided to let him install the new components & neaten up the cables. Very quick turn around (as I recall, I only had to wait for the new items to ship). I was making some simple upgrades this week & the cable management reminded me of this shop. I'd take my PC back here again for any tech issues out of my league.

I was recommended to this place and I’m so glad I was! Rob was great. He was knowledgeable, courteous and explained everything to me in layman’a terms I could understand. And on top of that, he not only squeezed me in the very day that I dropped off my computer, but finished it the same day for such a fair price. I highly recommend this computer shop. Excellent service!

I got my computer fixed yesterday. My experience at the shop was good. It's a one-person shop, and while the owner's attitude was ok and terrible and not helpful at the same time. When I went there, I asked for a quote, and they provided some details. I wanted to understand why my computer had lost its OS. But, they just quoted me about $80 for the OS installation and $40 for the diagnosis fee. Although the overall experience was good, the employee's unhelpful attitude was disappointing. Despite the shop's high ratings, I would only give it 2 out of 5 stars due to the poor attitude I encountered. They reinstalled my operating system, which cost me about $160, including about $80 hard drive replacement in total. My main complaint is about the attitude and the lack of detailed information provided. The employee seemed either unprofessional or unwilling to help me understand what was wrong with my hard drive. My hard drive had some issues, and the employee mentioned that it happens all the time and is common. I wanted to recover data from my bad hard drive and understand the error codes the employee had printed out. However, he refused to explain the codes and implied me that I was worrying too much. He said he didn't want to waste his time explaining each code, which made me feel frustrated. If he didn't know the answers, he could have just told me instead of acting like it was a waste of his time. Overall, the repair was done, and my computer is working fine now, but the poor attitude of the employee made the experience unpleasant a little. If the shop could improve its customer service and provide clearer explanations, it would be a much better place. Sincerely,

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! Rob was so wonderful! I thought my computer had a virus and it didn’t. Rob walked me through the problem and advised me how to deal with it in the future. He is the best in the business, being a computer tech guy since 1979.

Awesome service and they are great at maintaining communication. Rob is definitely the Go-to Guy if you have a computer problem. He was very professional, gave me the best options and advice, and was 100% honest and up front with me. Plus, he has a great sense of humor! I highly recommend Forest Computer Solutions.
