As to the Computer Refinery - the review by Ant C is a misrepresentation of the facts, he was never a customer of the shop. In fact he was asked to leave due to his behavior- I was in the store at the time and felt threaten to the point I would have to call the police. Ant C's mother had brought in a laptop which she said her son had worked on and she could not get into it. The computer was password locked. His mother had called him an asked for the password which he gave, it did not work. After recovering the photos, Ant C came into the store and berated his mother and the store. It was explained about the password and he was not sure what it was. A new drive was put in and windows was reinstalled with transfer of the photos from the original drive. Ted the owner gave back the original drive and cut the price for the new drive-reinstalled windows-file transfer of photos. I have known Ted over 20 years, never had an issue, he has always gone above and beyond in all ways. The best computer tech I know. How can someone who never was a customer write a review. His mother was very happy and she got her photos and was offered no charge and would not have it. She paid half price and was not charged for the drive. I do not know how this would make this business a den of thieves nor over priced or poor customer service. The laptop turn around time was the same day, while she waited and was advised at each step during the recovery of her laptop and files. Ant C's review is to be taken with the above facts as not factual and a fabrication of the events, their are other witnesses.

Ted is amazing! I brought in my Toshiba laptop that I bought in 2013 because it stopped working. The next day I picked it up and it ran better than when I bought it new. For an extremely reasonable charge, I ended up with a whole new updated computer. This is the best service I have received from a computer repair business.

Ted has been my computer repair person for the last 16 years. He built our WiFi network and maintained it with upgrades yearly. He has built me computers and I purchased my laptop from him. Ted and the fine foke at the Computer Refinery are the best. I’ve known Ted for years and he has never served me wrong in any situation. Ted has been readily available and amazingly helpful - he's very knowledgeable, has quick turnaround, and is quite affordable for the expertise he offers. I've had general maintenance done, virus removal, a replaced laptop screen, and even document restoration from the other side of the planet. The area is lucky to have him. Highly recommended!
