Took my laptop in early Monday afternoon for two sticks of DDR 5 RAM. Friday afternoon, haven't heard anything so I decided to call them(glad I did). They determined it takes DDR4(I know for a fact, it doesn't) I drive there and ask how they came up with this determination. Internet search. Seriously? A search on this particular laptop about RAM reveals countless different answers. All you had to do is open it and look, that's it. Without looking, you were going to order the wrong RAM after already holding my laptop for four days. $65 for this. Learned my lesson

We walked in 10 minutes before closing with a bent piece and the gentlemen there stayed late to fix it right away. Every time we are in they educate my son on the issue and answers all of his questions thoroughly. I can’t say enough about how awesome the entire staff is!

I was greeted by a nice young lady who directed me to exactly where I needed to go with my issue. That’s where I met Keelan (sorry if I misspelt that). He was a smart young man who tried his very best to understand my issue; I needed the most specific screw you could imagine. In the end I left with screws (for free) that we thought MIGHT fit my problem. Overall very supportive work and did a great job.

Edit: After reading their reply and after they diagnosed another problem, I will update my review. I do still think the initial bench fee was too high when we knew what the problem was, but they did a good job and were quick to help when the battery also died. Original: The repair was done, but the cost was ridiculous, and it took too long. First, there was a 4-day wait and a $65 charge to diagnose the problem. (We could have chosen to wait 1 day, but pay $145). However, we already knew what the problem was (a broken jack for power) and told them so yet they still felt they needed to make me be without my work computer a few days before figuring out we were right and then asking us if we wanted them to order the part. Then, the part was $35. However, we found the part on Amazon for $6. The only reason we didn't fix our own problem was due to 2 screws we couldn't take off. So, now we had to pay a grossly inflated price. Finally, there was a $40 labor charge. I have no qualms about the labor or its costs. I will never go there again.
