Months ago bought at least 400 bucks worth. This afternoon bought another product. Clerk ask me if I wanted to Best Buy member ship. I declined. Next thing I knew the clerk after my purchase went through, reading my card number to someone on the other end of the phone. My card numbers front and back. Little odd. I confronted the clerk on it. He apologized. But who would be on the end tht needed my card numbers? Especially when they got a big purchase from me a few months ago.

5/5 for PHENOMENAL in-store staff! Nate plugged in my computer right at the counter, immediately recognized the problem and solution, and resolved my computer issue within about one minute. Allowed me to enter my own PIN, so my privacy felt very secure. NO CHARGE for the consultation. 1/5 for the phone system headache. If you're already having tech issues and have limited online access, be prepared for endless loops of recordings if you call.

The Geek Squad is a great value. Yes the scheduling system is a little clunky because you don't usually have 2 days notice when your PC glitches, but they almost always can get me in and resolve my problem. Honestly these guys are 5 stars.

I took my iPhone 11 in for a screen repair. I knew taking it in that I would be paying out of pocket because I broke the warranty for using a third party screen. I used a third party screen because when I originally broke my screen I went through apple to schedule an appointment and they told me I had to wait two weeks. This time around, I had to wait a week to get in. My main issue is that I had to wait at the store for two hours while they figured out how to charge me for the repair. I ended up missing work over this. After this two hour wait and $200 later, they started working on my phone. I got it back about an hour later and the screen was working fine. I later found out that my Face ID was not working. After resetting my phone, resetting Face ID, and googling the problem, I found out it was most likely due to an incorrect screen repair. I tried calling the store and apple. I called Geek Squad 20 minutes before they closed and no one answered. I also called apple. The tech ended up having technical issues and had to disconnect. I was told I would receive a call back from apple and never did. I’m still trying to contact apple or Geek Squad to fix a problem Geek Squad created. This whole process is a nightmare and I hate that this is the only place that is apple certified in this area.

I tried to set up an iPhone repair but after many attempts to call them they just kept hanging up on me. I guess they're scared of money or they already make too much. Either way geek squad is a joke. I'll stay with mom and pop shops.
