They took care of my computer in about 5 days. I bought the total geek membership and will be bringing a device every week, for discounted repairs. The only complaint I have is their limited options on Operating System installs. They'll install the top 3, Windows, Apple OS, MAYBE Linux. I'd say their iffy about installing Unraid because their lack of total geek knowledge. Another to note, they can call you, you cannot call them, if you have questions. You'll be rerouted to a number that can only set up appointments, you'll need a walk in appointment for your question. All being said 2/5 stars, the only up side to geek squad is the total geek membership, they are not really total geeks if they refuse to do upgrades to a PC that anybody could do. I could take my PC to the shop down the road they'll install unraid os and I could bring it to you and you won't know what to do. Not geeks.

01/13/25 - I brought a 2016 Nissan Rogue in that had an issue with (according to the Nissan dealership) the Viper remote starter installed by Best Buy Brighton December of 2017. I still had my original paperwork. Lifetime warranty. Kevin with the Geek Squad identified the problem, which may or may not have been with the Viper remote starter or the Best Buy installation, and corrected it. Kevin was very understanding and easy to work with. As a result of this interaction I am considering another unrelated audio purchase for a different vehicle at this location. Thanks Kevin!

I didn't get his name, but the young guy working the Geek Squad desk tonight (11/18) was awesome. My dog chewed my laptop cord and he helped me out. He was super polite and professional and I'm really grateful for him. It's been a rough 24 hours for me so it was nice to experience a little bit of kindness. Thank you so much!

When I came back from vacation my internet browser was gone. Computer not working for what I needed to do. One call to geek squad and I was back on track. The lady whom helped me was knowledgeable and efficient. She got the job done in no time. Best call ever to best buy!

Long story short, they pressured me into buying their membership for $200. I told them that it's more than likely a hardware problem in my computer and they assured me that they could help. The first time I brought it in they deleted my operating system Windows 10 pro and told me that they could not reinstall it. Then after bringing it back again, all they did was reinstall the operating system. It's literally all they did. I brought it back three times and each time they acted so smug about fixing it. My computer still freezes all the time. I also bought the computer at Best buy and they " can't do anything about it" needless to say I'm done with Best buy done with geek squad. Horrible horrible experience.
