Dropped a commercial grade CRT monitor that I use for retro video games off to John that was completely dead. Said he was running a week behind. He called me in a few days and said he found a capacitor that failed on the power board. He also reflowed a few solder joints that he said looked like they got a little hot over the years. Showed me that it functioned before I left with it. It was raining when I picked it up. He was kind enough to cover the monitor with his own sweatshirt and carry it out to my car as it was raining heavily. He repairs much more than TVs, DVD players, Blu-Rays and various other electronics as well. I'll be using him in the future for other repairs and will refer him to anyone.

This is the second time we deal with John's TV for 2 different TV sets of different brands, and we had great service both times. John the owner and the manager always explained up front what the repair process is expected to be like, he knows what is he talking about, he committed to the time frame of doing the job, and he always called back timely if he promised to do so or when we left a message. He also calls later on after the job is done to follow up and make sure everything is running well. Highly recommend for you TV repairs.

Spent hour & 1/2 on phone with cable set up an appointment.,, got a call from “advanced tech” had me plug & unplug box to tell me wasn’t the box it was the tv,, placed a call to John mostly to ask charge to check, John very patiently spent time with me on phone & felt it was in fact my cable box but he would look at the tv. Packed it up & drive to the shop. John met me at door carried it into the shop, plugged it in, connected it to cable & wa la!! He was very knowledgeable, explained things clearly & patient with this technically challenged senior. 5 stars not enough!!

Just when I thought customer service was dead I stumbled across John's TV. We used to use John a couple of decades ago when his dad ran the business. That's when it was cost-effective to fix the old style TVs. Recently I had a flat screen that I didn't know was worth fixing or not. I contacted John's TV and he gave me all of the options as opposed to repair or purchase of a new one. He also sells new ones. I decided to opt for the repair as it was a good quality TV. John came on time and picked up my TV. There is a $50 diagnostic charge and a $40 delivery fee. But actually, there really isn't a fee when you think about it because that $90 was applied to the repair! The service was always excellent when John's Dad ran the business and his son certainly is not a disappointment. Tremendous customer service. Not only did he pick up the TV he offered me a loaner which I did not need. Despite the horrendous winter weather he completed the repairs in five days and came and dropped the TV off and reinstalled it. I can't say enough about his wonderful demeanor and his tremendous service! John you are doing your dad proud!! I will never go anywhere else. When it comes time to purchase a new TV I will make sure it is with John's TV! He is the definition of service with a smile and a promise kept.
