My Samsung s21+ had a faulty LCD screen and I was sent a warranty replacement phone, but I did not back up my photos... I was devastated and money's tight right now so I was desperately trying to avoid a screen replacement. I did my homework, made an appt and when I went in, Lee helped me right away. He troubleshot with me for over an hour, trying different ways to get my phone to unlock and we ultimately figured it out after almost an hour and a half. He backed ALL my photos up to a USB that I purchased in store (a great price, by the way!) and helped me avoid a pricey screen replacement for my already warrantied device. I cannot thank Lee enough and his colleagues Zak and Chris (I believe was his name!). Everybody was super helpful, very patient and understanding. I could not be happier! Thank you, Geek Squad and Lee! You guys truly saved the day!!

It is unfortunate because I would like to give this geek squad a better review but I can't when you won't allow the department or store to ever take even return calls to geek squad after they called you to talk to you about your computer. Customer service (clearly foreign) told me that they can't allow you to contact the Attleboro store directly even if you are calling them back. So if you are leaving a computer for work and you might need a longer than 20 min pick up appt. To discuss the work later make sure to book that appt before you leave after dropping off your computer (which I wanted to do but the geek squad rep told me it would be easier to make that appt. When they call me back to pick it up) if you miss their call you are the one burned.

It's definitely a 50/50 here. I have a AroraR11 and couldn't clean my CPU cooler properly so I asked for it to be serviced I called the number they set it up. Well the follow Monday I get a call from someone who works in geek squad telling me a CPU Cooler is not a thing... That they where unable to accept the computer to work on it as the part was not real and proceeded to cancel my appointment. I did end up going to the same bestbuy asking an employee to help me find a CPU cooler and confirmed they are infact real and brought the situation up to the managers attention.

Brought my computer in because I had an error for the pump fan, I told them this and they insisted they had to do a $100 diagnostics test on my computer. Came back a week later for them to tell me it was a motherboard issue and I'd have to get it replaced. I just left with it instead. I decided to send it somewhere else and what do you know it was just a pump fan. 80 dollar fix instead of them replacing the whole motherboard, which would have fixed nothing. I've heard horror stories about geek squad and I'm glad I listened to my gut and left. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Made an appointment for an iPhone screen placement. Was checked in promptly and my phone was ready within two hours. Easy drop off and pick up. Another Best Buy location had told me they couldn’t do it because they didn’t have any techs trained for my phone (a phone call before I drove to the appt would have been nice). But I quickly made an appointment with this location and they got me right in!
