Geek was no help at all after buying a NEW Sony OLED TV for over $2500. another $600. for Bose Smart Soundbar. Wanted a tech to come out and try to resolve my problem but they wouldn't make my appt. until after I paid them up front. Told them I just spent over $5000. with them for two TVs and soundbar. No need to pay them up front before they are here. I'll gladly pay them their fee and a generous tip if they simply fix my problem. Said they can't do that. What a bunch of useless Squad Mambers. Bring your money elsewhere for better service

Convinced me to sign up for the Total Tech subscription (which is like $200/year so it ain't cheap) just to tell me I wouldn't be able to pick up my laptop for 3 days. Granted, I could've done my due diligence to see how long reinstalling Windows 11 would take after a factory reset but they also could've had the decency to tell me it would take that long BEFORE signing me up for the program. The dude who helped me also was super snarky about it when I told him I had changed my mind and said I didn't have time to wait that long since I work from home I essentially live on the damn thing. Thankfully I figured it out on my own without them but I still had to go through the hassle of cancelling the subscription after the fact. They're just such a huge headache. If you need service, I'd recommend going anywhere but here.

I've always had good experience with Geek Squad, but this experience here was particularly good. Thank you to the crew, and Jarrod specifically for helping with my warranty claim. Highly recommended.
