I can’t say enough good things about the Computer Center in Hanover MA. I live in FLA and had purchased a computer from them 9 years ago when I was visiting my son who highly recommended them to me. I purchased a new HP from John at that time who shipped the computer to me here in FLA. Windows now no longer supports my old computer as of January 2020 so it was time again for a new computer. I had checked locally here in The Villages for a computer, but found it very frustrating dealing with sales people who were just interested in making a sale, so when I visited my son during this past Thanksgiving I again went to Computer Center to see what they had to offer. I was lucky enough to have John help me again and decided to purchase my new computer. Without going into detail, we finally corrected some miscommunication problem and now have my new computer. John showed great patience with me during the process of preparing my new computer and shipment to me here in FLA. I would highly recommend them.

Had a laptop that I thought needed a new hard drive. I own and use 3 computers on a regular basis for work and since my regular service tech is 30 miles away, I thought I’d try someone close by that I could use in a pinch. So I called Computer Center and told them I was willing to pay a diagnostic fee to have them look at my laptop. When I dropped off the machine, I specifically asked them to call me with their findings BEFORE they did any more work. A few days went by when I received a call from them informing me the laptop had been repaired...for over $400!! To replace a hard drive. Not only could I have purchased an entirely new laptop for that price, but my usual repair service would’ve charged only $165 ($40 diagnostic fee, $65 for a new hard drive, and $60 to install it). But there’s more...after installing the new drive, Computer Center ALSO installed their own version of Windows, which rendered my System Recovery media inoperable (NOTE: In addition to System Restore, which is a Windows feature, manufacturers include a System Recovery function with their computers...so a user can easily repair any system conflicts that can not be repaired using System Restore). As a result, if I developed any kind of serious system issue at a later date, I no longer had the ability to fix it myself via the manufacturer's system recovery function. I would have to BRING THE MACHINE BACK to Computer Center and pay even more usurious labor charges. Had they simply installed a new hard drive and left it at that, I could have reinstalled my original operating system and everything would've been fine. But wanting the customer to be dependent upon them for further repair, they went ahead and corrupted the new drive by installing THEIR operating system. When I went back to Computer Center and told them they were never instructed to install anything -- especially another operating system -- they offered to knock $100 off the bill, but it was still DOUBLE what it would’ve cost elsewhere due to the fact they installed and charged me for a lot of bloatware and apps I did NOT ask for and did not need. So buyers beware. Shop around. There ARE repair shops that will do a better job at a far better price. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. Given how they padded the bill on such a simple repair, it's a good bet these guys are also taking advantage of less knowledgeable customers who are not even faintly aware they are being hosed.

The owner is very friendly and always willing to help. This store has been around for decades and has a solid reputation. They fix and sell computers among other electronic devices. They even sold VCR to my mom. Price are great. The store is a hidden gem.

The older gentleman at the counter is clueless about computers. If you listen to him they will have your laptop for two days at a cost of $450.00. All I wanted was to switch from greyscale to color. Eventually found the right button (that's work in itself), pushed a button, and voila. Took maybe 10 seconds. This is the 3rd time I've walked out of the place. Run, don't walk.
