Business Overview
Apple Chestnut Hill is a retail store that offers various computer repair services. Many customers report negative experiences, citing rude and unhelpful employees. They also do not seem to offer good customer service or have a good environment for the customer and many customers are upset. The staff and customer service seems to be generally bad.

Manager Lee isn’t in a position to be interacting with customers during a stressful holiday season. When another Apple employee said something different and I was seeking clarification, he walked away from me mid-interaction to show how little he cared about what I had to say. Ruth was phenomenal when I ultimately returned my product due to his actions, but I’m flabbergasted at how far Apple customer service has fallen when dismissive and rude employees like Lee are promoted to positions of authority.

Absolutely the worst costumer service I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I am convinced that I have bought a lemon laptop from this awful store. I have brought it back 4 times to get it fixed (fully covered under warranty) with no avail. They have stated it will take 2 more visits to even consider a replacement laptop. I am fully convinced that the aggressive demeanor of the customer service reps was a tactic to intimidate myself, as I walked out of the Apple Store in tears without a working laptop.

Went in with a couple of questions about replacing my IPad with a new one. The salesman was bored and indifferent. I would not have bought a stick of gum from the guy. If he is the best they can do they should just close the store. I could not wait to leave.

Horrendously bad service from start to finish. My daughter made the appointment over the phone bc the app was so bad. She said she was looking to buy a MacBook. So of course the guy who answered arranged a repair visit. We showed up on time. After waiting for 20 mins, I asked the check-in guy how much longer we would have to wait. He said he had no idea. I told him that wasn't a great answer. He then rudely said he had no idea how to predict the future. My daughter went over and asked him the same question and he told her she was next in line. Why couldn't he have told me the same type of answer? I have no idea but I do know he was incredibly rude. We left the store after 35 minutes when someone came over to inform us that we were logged in for a repair visit instead of a purchase visit. If we wanted to purchase, we'd have to make another appointment. What a joke

BEWARE!! SUPER PREDATORY!!! I feel obligated as a young woman to write this review, because the tactic that employees use here is extremely unethical. And beyond that, very intimidating and truly would have worked on a more vulnerable person who didn’t understand their problem entirely. If you leave here feeling discouraged.. DONT GIVE UP! I visited this location at 6pm on Dec 3 for a quick speaker issue. After explaining, I was directly threatened by an unhelpful impatient employee that she would “just wipe my whole phone then.” For a warranty covered hardware problem! I am horrified to think that it could have been my grandmother having all the pictures of her grandkids leveraged against her, to intimidate her into leaving with a still broken phone. We pay $15 month for Apple Care Plus which is supposed to be full protection! I went from this store directly to the Legacy Place Apple Store with NO APPOINTMENT who was minutes from CLOSING and not only were they able to fix the original problem INSTANTLY but they tactfully upsold me into upgrading another phone for myself along with 2 cases. Zero scary phone wiping required! Skip this chestnut hill Apple Store location entirely… they will do anything to get you to leave… Even lie about your paid coverage, intimidate and directly threaten you… and then double down when I outright asked if it is a threat! She knew what she was doing! And she is COUNTING on you NOT knowing about your phone. I am happy to provide a description of this chubby late 20’s black woman with a ponytail and wispy front pieces, but she was so immediate and brazen I genuinely feel this is a management problem too. I didn’t bother wasting any more of my time to report her.
