I'm a dummy. Sometimes. I stacked my MacBook on top of my Windows PC and left for a couple of days of out-of-state work. Both machines were on. That warped the battery in the Mac and it wouldn't work. I'm also not very good at doing the Time Machine thang (that's changing). I brought my Mac to an Apple store and the folks said it couldn't be fixed. They were wrong. They did give me a list of preferred vendors for data recovery, but I would have to send my machine to them. I looked for someone local and found this place. Thank [your deity of choice]!!! Polo not only was able to get all my files back but he also refurbished my MacBook to the point where it's basically a new laptop! I bought a refurbished MacBook so my wife is claiming the one Polo raised from the dead. Garageband files that I thought were gone, my meme collection, my MA in Writing classwork...I got all them thar files!! And the cost was far less than what I expected it to be!!! Polo is my go-to PC/Mac guy forever!

Polo was very kind & helpful. I have a MSI gaming laptop & needed the cpu fan replaced (not a simple job the whole motherboard had to be removed to get to it), called all around & was quoted crazy prices & turn around times. Found Polo on Google decided to give him a call & I couldn't be happier, he gave the best price & fixed my laptop the same day within 1 hour. I highly recommend him, he knows what he's doing & he does honest work.

Initially, he was a 5 star review and I was sending ppl his way to get work. I contacted him via email received the labor price of $150. Next, I was able to drop my laptop off 3 weeks later. The first meeting was amazing because he comes off as gentle, very approachable, self aware & earthly. He then sends me screenshots of prices and I tell him that I’d just go get another laptop then he tells me wait and he finds more affordable parts(screenshot below) the parts $114 + the labor $150 he gave me the final price of $264 Not once did I haggle him I brought my laptop to him with no issues outside of a cosmetic issue. Everything still functioned and I was using my laptop till the day I dropped it off. At the drop off he asked me if I had important info on my computer, I replied yes. The night before pick up he’s asking for my password which doesn’t make any sense because it’s simply a cosmetic issue(my screen disconnected from hinge connecting it to the keyboard). He says he needs to see that my camera works and I reply he can use the guest account to do that. Then he sends a picture showing that he now makes my keyboard light up which I didn’t ask him to do and he tells me that he wants to Frankenstein my laptop and I tell him no I just want the cosmetic issue fixed. He got upset because I didn’t trust to him to give him my password. BE VERY WEARY OF THIS. After unnecessarily lighting up my keyboard, he proceeds to tell me to bring $299 and tells me to be grateful…then his true nature came out, especially in person when I came to pick up my laptop. In every way he’s subtly dismissive and disrespectful. He tried to gaslight, demean my character and cast judgement based on his intrusive practices. Instead of being combative I informed him that I’ll post our business discourse to allow the public to decide and left. He’s manipulative & tries to guilt trip you. He told me that my responses via text gave him nightmares and that he’s had multiple ppl give him $100 tips so $35 is nothing. Which led me believe that he’s building in his own tip instead of allowing the customer to bless him naturally for his services. Hes a perfect example of a wolf in sheep’s clothing and the saddest thing is that I don’t even think he’s aware of it due to his self inflated ego. So warning: TELL HIM TO ONLY DO WHAT YOU ARE Asking OF HIM! OTHERWISE, HE WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A MECHANIC FINDING EXTRA THINGS TO DO TO CHARGE YOU MORE. It’s intrusive, inconsiderate and poor business practice. He'll hide his mischievousness through “God” and prayer hands. Keep your wits about you. The work is completed, I paid him but I’m definitely leery about what else he could’ve added to my computer. After I left, he sent me multiple texts. I didn’t open them to keep his spirit away from me and truly detach…that experience had indicators of him being a monitoring spirit. Update: After my review was posted I awoke to more messages from him and no I’m not opening those neither. Atp, I believe he’s very calm and meek in the beginning because the other side of him is alarmingly emotionally unhinged at the slightest disagreement with his wants and/or requests.

Polo is very caring, peaceful and has a heart of gold. He diagnosed my overheating issue quickly, kept me updated throughout the repair process and even went out of his way to give me a temporary fix until my Cooler Master came in. Who would do that? POLO WOULD! Worked all night long to install, and he met all his promise dates from beginning to end. Polo is very affordable, treats your problem as his problem and works day and night until it's fixed and fixed right. I highly recommend this business and Polo.
