Gadget Guru - Owings Mills

I left my notebook for repair on September, 2024. On November problem reoccured, and I left it for repair again on November 8, 2024. Now is November 16, and problem is still not resolved yet. I never received any updates about status. When I make calls, I speak with different representatives, and everyone gives me different information. Finally, I do not trust that company. It's already 2+ weeks since I left my notebook, and it's still not ready to pick up. I get only promises ETA on my questions about status, but there is no results. If I get luck to take my notebook back, I will never attend this store. I don't believe that they will place good detail. I guess they are interested customers to come back with additional problems to get additional charges. I am disappointed, will not recommend this business anybody. Everything on my question about status of my order I got excuses instead of needed result. If I do not pick up my notebook by the end of today's date as November 24, 2024, I will file claim in BBB. Got response with following excuses. No hope to get results in peaceful manner. Cannot avoid filing complaint in9 BBB. Today is November 26, 2024, problem is not resolved yet. Two days ago I filed complaint in Better Business Bureau for help. Every week I provide virus scans, but now I cannot reach my laptop to process it. It looks like my loved device got in hands of vandals. If they originally installed old part and charged $160.00 from my budget, I will not be surprised if they give me additional problems. Currently, I lost money, and I don't have my loved device. On November 27, 2024 I picked up my laptop. They replaced power button from new to old one, and "proceed" refund as $110.00. They refused to refund of $50.00 for diagnostic motivating on policy. In their condition, they should not dictate me rules. I supposed to receive slip as proof that refund was proceed, but I did not get it. To avoid headache, it shoud avoid dealing with Gadget Guru. BBB was notified about way of problem resolution. Hope to get help for FULL refund.
