I brought my laptop here, and it took the guy just a couple of minutes to realize that there was a short in the keyboard, and the laptop probably wasn't worth saving. He told me where to recycle it and he didn't charge me anything. I was so happy with his customer service. I will definitely be back when I have something worth saving to fix

I brought in my MSI workstation for damaged hinges and the case separating. I received it back unrepaired, covered in messy epoxy, more damaged than before, with the screen cracked and partially dead. You can compare the before and after in the photos I've attached. When I arrived to pick up my laptop, he could not locate it at all. I discovered it in the hallway floor outside his office, leaning against the desk. He proceeded to tell me that my TWO YEAR OLD laptop was "on its last legs anyway", no one could possibly repair it, and I should just give up on it. He did not apologize at any point. When I brought it to someone else for repair, we discovered he had plastic welded the screen to the casing. Parts of the case were broken off and missing. He told me the screen couldn't be replaced. Despite his assertions, I was able to take it to someone else who fixed the supposedly unfixable. The only good thing I can say about this company is that at least they paid for the repair work it needed after they got their hands on it.

I cannot say enough positive about Josh and his business. When I had a major data loss last summer, he not only tried to diagnose the problem, he also allowed me to work on the Mac in his office to download all the files I could recover that had been stored in the Cloud, even letting me stay working one night long after he himself had left for home. He is a decent, generous person--but also clearly incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at his trade. And his pricing is beyond reasonable. He will definitely be my go-to tech help person from now on, and I recommend his business very highly!

Wonderful experience! I didn't even make an appointment, just dropped my Mac off and in two days had it back. Don't be fooled by the unorganized appearance of the office, it's just how he rolls and he knows where everything is! Josh is a genius!!!!

Absolutely the best place around for for repairs. Exceptional customer service, reasonable prices, friendliness staff and great completion speed. The best in Maine hands down. My sisters who know absolutely nothing about computers purchased a new one without a warrantee for 3 years to save $40. I brought it to the Nerd Barn where they went through it to find that it would cost me as much as a new laptop to get this one fixed. They were so nicely to help me with finding the company website to get an extended warrantee for the laptop so it could get fixed. just when I thought these guys could not get any better I brought them a hard drive that I had been saving for 15 years from an old computer. I had taken it to a place when the computer originally crashed and was told there was nothing that could be done. On a when I pulled it from storage and let these guys take a look at it. to my astonishment they were able to download and save over 150GB of stuff for me. To include the only copy of a video of my god-daughters first beauty pageant. The Nerd Barn will always be my first and only go-to for any computer support.
