Had a Laptop that wouldn't turn on. Laptop has never been dropped. And is 4 months old When we went in they stated we dropped it and it is 85 for them to send it off. They said they wouldn't even get to it for 2 months and could cost over 500. I decided to just go home. Took apart and made a quick 10 minute adjustment and laptop works like new

This is a great idea and as a single mom I was excited to join the Total Tech Support plan to have someone connect my computer, tvs, printers etc however this is not all it is cracked up to be.... While it costs $200 per year to join and $50 each time they come to your home to fix something (each item they work on is $50 even if at the same visit so the cost to fix computer issue and printer is would be $100 etc), when I tried to schedule an appointment today to get a computer /printer issue resolved they could not send someone out for a week! There is no guarantee to how long it will take to actually get someone to you. If you want immediate and timely service you have to pay a $250 "emergency fee" so this is where they get you!

I scheduled an appointment at the Millerville location in Baton Rouge, LA. I had a 10:20am-10:40am appointment to get a new battery for my sons iPone 7. I arrive a few minutes early and as the rep is taking my info I realize I have the wrong password to turn off the find my iPhone feature. I leave, go outside and get the password and come back in at 10:35 (Sill in my window of appointment time. I tell the rep that I got it turned off. His response is “Ha. Your appointment is way past.” I asked does that mean you can’t take my phone and he says “No. it takes 20 to 30 minutes to write up an order.” If it takes 20-30 minutes to do each order then why aren’t appointments at least 30 minutes long???? And if it really takes at least 20 minutes for you to key in that I want a new battery installed in a phone then you need a new system. I will be telling everyone I know about this and urging them to take their business elsewhere.
