I love this store like SERIOUSLY, it's a great store It's great for games from past console generations, and great for games in current generations.Gameware has so much games for past generation consoles like it's almost like they focus mainly on games in the past that but they do carry a decent amount of current gen games it's paradise for a person who only owns a Xbox 360.

As someone who's seen this store rise from its very beginnings from a youngster to a now-31 year-old, this is a fantastic locally owned gaming store! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they have a broad selection of both modern and retro gaming (not to mention they're the only place in Baton Rouge to do repairs. Exceptionally, at that). I always look forward to every trip here to either add to my rebuilt retro collection, or pick up any new releases that interest me. 10/10 store EDIT: Google asked me to edit this for some reason. My opinion has yet to change. Still the best game store in Baton Rouge by a mile!

I will definitely use this place again for any future problems. Brought in a PS5 that wouldn’t turn on after a suspected power surge. Was told it would be ready the next evening, but it was actually ready a few hours later. Guys seemed very knowledgeable, and took time to explain answers to my questions.

Went and had a blast if you are looking for retro games and stuff your in the right place stayed there for over a hour looking and games can be very expensive or very cheap depending on the game and console. Over all very very good place to go.
