My daughter went it to get the screen replaced on her iPhone. Apparently iPhones disable Face ID when a third party place replaces the screen. I find it hard to believe that this place did not know this considering they advertise screen replacement for iPhones. This cannot be the first time this has happened and from what I gather there are work arounds. So 120 bucks and her Face ID is just inoperable. This place is dishonest, and I guarantee they knew this would happen but they gladly took her hard earned money anyway. It was not fully functional. Because Face ID didn’t work and you guys know it doesn’t work when a 3rd party repair shop changes the screen. Everything else works but Face ID which Apple requires a few extra things to make the Face ID function. Like I said I find it hard to believe you didn’t know this as I’m pretty sure this wasn’t the first time this happened. Apple does that to make more money which is shady on their part but it’s even shadier that y’all knew this would happen and instead of saying something you just took her money. She is a college student and just shelled out 120 bucks for something that isn’t fully functional so the fact that you’re saying it is is an outright lie and you should be ashamed of yourselves for saying that and repeating it when you know it’s false. And you stated there was a 2 week warranty and now you tell her well it was working when she left. What’s the point of a 2 week warranty if you aren’t going to honor it?

I rate my service with them a 2/5. I dropped off my 14 pro max at 12 o’clock. They told me it would be 2-2.5 hours. I waited three hours called and checked the status they told me another 1hr -1.5hr . I informed them I did not live in the area and needed to go. They stalled me due to them breaking my front glass while fixing the back. It took them 6 hours to fix my phone. I left at 6:30 that day in a hurry to beat the rain I called and told them my front screen was not properly installed it bulges out of the top while in the parking lot. The guy told me maybe but a book on it to hold the glue down or bring it back in. Put a book on it because I was not waiting any longer had an hour drive home . The back cracked AGAIN. waste of money. They told me that I needed to pay again but they would put more glue on the front for free. Needless to say. I won’t be going back. The lady did give me a $30 discount for the inconvenience of time I waited and fixed the front glass they broke free of charge due to it being on them. Which is why I rate them a 2/5 for trying. Update : Changing my review to a 1 star due to company not being honest. As if I do not know where I took my phone for business in the Alexandria mall. They ordered the back glass for me. It came in Tuesday. I dropped phone off Thursday. & there is definitely a lady that works there idk if she is the owners wife but yes she is there everytime I go and the one I talked to each time I called. Gator gadget even called me when the part came in. They just offered to glue my front screen down yesterday if I bring it in but told me I would have to pay for back . THE LADY. Which I’m not doing. & If you’re not going to be honest. I will provide proof and get lawyers involved. Thank you. I will not be removing my post.

I have an iPhone 7… screen was busted. Not interested in upgrading. I love my phone. They fixed my screen in 40 min for $100. It’s like new and I am very pleased with the customer service.

I knew, after dropping my phone dozens of times in the past, by the sound my iPhone made when it hit the floor that it wouldn't be OK. I was right. The screen had colored lines running vertically and then faded. I could tell that it was on by the home button haptic touch...but it had only a black screen. After trying various methods to get it working again I gave up and brought it in to Gadget Gator. I called ahead and was quoted the cost for screen replacement. A very helpful lady took my information and my phone and told me it would take about 30-45 minutes. My son and I walked around the mall and got a pretzel next door. By the time we were finished, my phone was fixed! The gentleman who worked on my phone was very friendly and accommodating. I paid the price I was quoted and walked out a very happy customer!! It is hard to live without your phone with all the contacts, email, etc. that are stored within it and it was so nice to have it working again! Thanks so much!
