Revive IT Service Center (Formerly Manhattan Computer Hospital)

I’ve been aware of Revive IT Service Center for quite some time, but I never had any technical issues to address, so I never needed to visit—until recently, when I decided to part ways with my gaming PC. I called ahead to ask if they even buy PCs, and they said, “Yes.” Encouraged, I drove 30 minutes to their location, hopeful for a fair appraisal. Unfortunately, what I experienced left me deeply disappointed. After showing the specs of my PC to the staff member assisting me, I was told, “Your computer is worth $25” and “No one wants a 2080 Super.” This was baffling, considering that on eBay, a used 2080 Super easily sells for $200+. I understand that businesses need to buy low and sell high to turn a profit, but their offer wasn’t just low—it felt predatory. The way they devalued my PC made me feel like they were trying to take advantage of me, rather than offer an honest deal. It wasn’t just insulting; it destroyed any trust I might have had in them. Needless to say, I declined their offer and have since prepared to list the PC on Facebook Marketplace. Revive IT Service Center may be fine for repairs, but if this is how they handle buying equipment, I can’t recommend them to anyone. My experience felt less like a business transaction and more like an attempted scam. Buyer (and seller) beware.

Extremely impressed with the personal service. Big help to we of the older generation who don't always understand new technology. Great service!!! We will certainly continue to use this local small business rather than the big boxes. The service is well worth having to deal with the Aggieville parking issues!! :>)

Highly recommend for all computer related questions & repair. Service was quick. The gentleman at the counter was super helpful, even gave me some pro tips. Also patient in giving me details about what they sold including refurbished especially if your looking to save some money compared to what you'll spend at a bigger company. Absolutely great people, they call you back, communicate clearly, and I literally watched them remotely spend HOURS on my PC figuring it out, and only charged me once for being brought in twice because it needed a little more. 10/10 (also they look women in the eyes and talk to them respectfully, I was pleasantly surprised, other of stores not so much)
