Took my computer in on Feb.10th. because my computer was hacked through Facebook. Paid the yearly price. $279. Told me that they were having trouble with it (age) and suggested I buy a new one. I did, one for $279. Spent an hour getting it set up. Only to get home and I'm not able to get on it. Tried everything !!

Called last Sunday for a warranty issue to get our fridge looked at, hour long call, clearly outsourced overseas, after an hour I got a confirmation number and was told a tech would be calling me by Tuesday to come to the house, here we are a week later called again and nobody had a clue even with the confirmation number! Now another 30 minute call just to be given....wait....the freaking same confirmation number and then was told to schedule this on line. $4000 fridge, $400 warranty, no help at all from Best buy or the Geek squad!

This place is a joke! Made an appointment and drove 2 hours for a repair they said they could fix, just to have them tell me they don’t make repairs like that. The employees said their customer service team never knows what they’re talking about and shrugged their shoulders at me. So we went to You Break I Fix and they fixed it the same day!

I haven't had much experience with the geek squad. But in my limited interaction they seemed to have misrepresented what their insurance covered when I initially bought a phone and then when I tried to use the coverage to get a phone replacement they sent me a not fully functional phone twice and had not offered any kind of compensation for all my time wasted. The service people were professional and knew what they were doing but the whole ordeal will keep me from using their services again

Total Tech seems like a great investment until you have to actually deal with The Geek Squad. I first made an appt to take our Macbook in for updating. First available was about 4 days out. We went to the location at our scheduled time(5pm). We are told that the person to help us with our request isn't available after 5pm and we need to either bring it back the next day or check it in. We went back the next day and lo and behold but they couldn't help us without checking it in and said it would take 5-6 days. We get notified they are done. We go pick it up, take it home and the password has been changed with no information on what it is or how to sign in. After over 30 minutes on hold(2 different times) and still never being able to talk with anyone at this location. Only remote workers who can't help me!
