Despite "REPAIR" being in their name and listed in their $150. service they told me they would not actually repair or solder any loose connectors that would prevent a power cord on a laptop from providing power. Seems they only offer to replace items after you purchase a new one and don't actually physically repair, at least not in my case. I already purchased a new power supply so of course I already know it must be an issue with the motherboard / motherboard connection that power cord plugs into. Why would I pay them $150 to tell me what I already know and that I have to buy a new motherboard. I took it to them to see if it can be repaired/fixed which they don't actually do I guess.

They had my PC for roughly 3 weeks. It just needed the drives replaced, which I could have easily done in an afternoon. I used their service because I simply didn't want to do the initial troubleshooting of testing the PSU and drives to confirm my suspicions. Over $500 and 3 weeks of me calling for updates and getting misinformed at least once, I got my PC back. Basically none of my files were recoverable (not their fault), but I think I was still charged for recovery. Credit where it is due, one of the people I spoke with was up front and owned some of the delays about 2 weeks in. I really appreciate that part. Overall, this experience was terrible. I asked for some kind of refund or discount, but never heard back.

I brought my old lap top in hoping to get it “cleaned up” and running faster. Left it for a few days, picked it up. Thought everything was going to get taken OFF the computer and put on an external drive. I had a thumb drive, but everything was STILL on the computer. Brought it back a second time, left it for a few days, came to pick it up. Asked to see before leaving and the person working the register spent some time with me. That person installed “Libre” because Word was no longer there. I brought it home AGAIN and couldn’t open my files, nor could I share any newly created ones. Went in again today and had an excellent session with Jager. He explained everything and helped me install Microsoft Word. He was very patient and accommodating to this old lady with archaic computer skills. He was so helpful. Because of him, when I’m ready to purchase a new computer I will likely go there. If you need your computer worked on, ask for Jager!

Highly become Dymin for PC diagnosis and repair issues. i had the 30 minute tech service. Jager fixed issue immediately and i had remaining time to ask other technical questions. not certain if there are other places in the DM area that are this responsive to fixing pc issues or at least giving you a diagnosis in 24 hours. great customer service !!!

If I could give negative stars I would. My son’s laptop had an issue with the screen. Half worked and the other side was pixelated. He dropped it off to have the screen replaced. We were quoted $150 plus the cost of the part. When we found out the total cost would be $700 we said no thank you. Called Ubreakifix and they quoted $399. Imagine my ire when I go to pick it up and they charged me $150! For what? You didn’t fix anything! For their diagnostics they said. I brought it in knowing what the issue was. I just asked to have the screen replaced. Ubreakitifix only charged $50 for diagnostics and that comes off the actual repair. I WOULD NEVER bring anything to this place of business. And would advise you to look elsewhere! Not happy at all.
