Computer Overdrive

If you decide to use them I hope you have a better experience than I did. In my opinion they are not professional. They never called me back when they said they will. I always had to be the one calling to get information. Communication between the two people working there is very poor. Every time I called, the person on the phone always thought the other person already called me. Nothing was ready when they said it will, and at the end of the day they couldn’t fix my laptop and it was left worse than before. I went there cause my laptop was coming on but the screen wasn’t displaying anything. They said it was the screen like I thought, then later it was a cable, then after replacing both my laptop wasn’t charging and now it’s a motherboard problem. Mind you my laptop was charging just fine before I took it to them and even on the day I gave them but according to them this is a problem that might have been there all along and just happened to surface when he changed the screen and cable. In my opinion they don’t know exactly what they’re doing and I wish I never went there.

Came to live in Indy for the first time. Was looking for trustworthy laptop repair place. Came to this place since this place had good reputation from locals. From the first time, I knew I made a right choice. Reasonable price and I go there not just to fix my stuff but even when I have common sense question for my computer stuff cuz I know they are not gonna gimme cold shoulder but give some useful tips.

I have been to Computer Overdrive several times and have bought 2 rebuilt laptops over the past 6 years that have performed fantastically. I will take in my laptop or desktop for a tune up every year or so. Mark and Jack are the best! They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They do free diagnostics on your computer so you don't have to waste money just to see that it could cost more to fix your computer than its worth. On top of that, they never charge you an arm and a leg for anything. They are honest and only do what's in the best interest of the customer! I trust them with ALL of my electronics and go there whenever I need something fixed or replaced.

Had a broken screen a couple of years back. They did a great job replacing it, but after the replacement they lost a hinge to the screen. I was told the hinge was not important, me not know much of computers believed them. A few years later my computer is cracking in the back. Closer inspection shows that the pieces that were covered by the hinge have now begin to push everything out alignment, now the top wobbles and cracks whenever I opened it. Ask all questions before and after your repairs. Be sure to research things yourself as well.
