iMechanic, Apple iPhone Repair

Buyer beware! The employees are prompt and quick on performing repair! That is all I can say that is good. I had a screen replaced on my iPhone 15. I understand I have some fault in this, but don’t let the business name fool you! They do not use genuine Authorized Apple parts, nor are they Apple authorized repair facility. I went in asked for a price, and was quoted what I thought to be a fair price, agreed and 2 hours later picked up my phone. Later that day I noticed an error message in settings “unauthorized part detected” clicked on the notification and low behold the the screen is not recognized. When I return to inquire I am then informed it was not an Apple replacement. Other than the notification, it operated fine and decided to deal with it. Then on day 5 the screen breaks, simply from being in my pocket and pressing against my other phone, on a Sunday. To shorten this some, they used an LCD screen which is wider and sticks farther out of the case of the phone, and apparently is much weaker material. I then go in and ask I am then told they have an option for a screen closer to the original, but it is more expensive, and they would not do anything for free. I then go to Best Buy and find out that since it is not and Apple screen they are not allowed by Apple to do the repair, because they are an authorized Apple repair facility. My previous screen was cracked but functioned. This one on the other hand is completely unusable. They need to be more informative about the services they are offering and the risks to the consumer.

I had seen other reviews online saying some customers were told that their device would be fixed within a few hours and then it turned into days. I politely expressed this concern when I came to this place, but they assured me that my phone would be fixed in just 2 hours. I came back at the time they told me, and they had my phone ready and fixed immediately. The price was slightly higher than I would have liked to pay for, but it wasn't ridiculous and they have a lifetime warranty on their repairs. I'm now sitting at home and so much happier that my phone finally charges well.

Did not replace screws back into my ps5 and still didnt fix the hdmi port. Still charged me full price for a shabby job

Timmy was AMAZING!! He knew so much about phones. I have an older Galaxy and he put in a new camera, replaced my screen, added a screen protector and said if I got a bigger SD card He could move some stuff over to free up space on my phone. So when I dropped my phone off, I gave him the bigger SD card and he said to come back in about 2 hours. When I came back I felt like I had a brand new phone. Everything worked great and he even got one of my apps that I had been having trouble with to work. I won't take my phone anywhere else from now on! He was great to work with and very very knowledgeable!! I appreciated the great service because that's hard to find now a days!!!

Took my ps5 in they said they could fix it i had it sitting against the hdmi cord so it went bad in the console they took it apart in clumbus then took it themselves to another store I got it back today said the mother board was bad went to take the internal hard drive out and noticed massive cracks where my disc drive connects to the console and where the internal storage is it was not there before it was never dropped by me or abused I called the ask if they noticed it when having it apart couldn't get a strait answer and asked if the other location said anything with no real answer so someone there either dropped it while they had it apart or at the other location just didn't care and was being rough with it but it's thick plastic so it had to have been dropped don't recommend this place find somewhere else the guy I talked to seemed to have two brain cells left take my advice don't waste your money here isn't trust any place these days to be honest about things I'm not even mad but just own up to your mistake you can't tell me two different stores wouldn't have said anything about massive cracks like that in the plastic
